Why is Ralof carrying 12 lockpicks? Why does Gerdur offer you her rings? Why does Orgnar sell Daedra hearts? After modding everything there is to mod in Skyrim, these 3 little details were not fixed by the community. Until now.

1) Is Ralof a thief? He fights like a warrior, he claims he is a warrior. He dislikes any other option at the standing stones but the warrior one.

Why was he carrying 12 lockpicks after being captured? I would understand it if he had managed to get some bent material into 1 or 2 lockpicks while the Imperials weren't looking to try to ease his binds or shiv an imperial in the eye and try to escape but... 12 lockpicks? C'mon Bethesda. Now Ralof (or Hadvar) only gives you 2 lockpicks so you can attempt to open the cell the dead mage is in or any other cell but now you need to be careful. Every lockpick counts. And yes, don't worry, there are still those 4 other lockpicks in the knapsack. That torturer is not very skilled at lockpicking but he was trying before taking an arrow to the chest. This mod pairs well with other mods that remove lockpicks from chests and vendors (minus the caravans and fences) so now, for once, you can feel some tension when you are down to 3, 2 or 1 lockpick and want to open that treasure chest at the end of a dungeon away from your khajiit friends.

2) Orgnar is just a cook and bartender of the Sleeping Giant Inn. He says so himself. He is not even that good of a cook. Why in the seven hells would he sell you DAEDRA HEARTS next to his potato soup? Yes, I get it. Gameplay. First inn. Players need to experiment with alchemy. I get it but now players will need to get their ingredients in the wild or from real alchemists. No more Daedra hearts or Giants' feet for Orgnar.

3) You just escaped a shave from the headsman. Gerdur offers you a place to stay for a couple of days, some healing potions, and... her wedding ring? Well, maybe not that one but... why would she offer you any jewellery at all as means of aid? It's nonsense. Now she offers you the potions and some food. That's it.

Why not Alvor? The loot he offers you has to do with blacksmithing so I don't see any problems here.

So that's it.  3 small changes I am surprised no one has implemented before in Skyrim SE. For realism's sake. Immersion. Immersive immersiveness. You know the drill.

Place it at the end of your load order. Just to be safe. Or after any mod that changes these characters' item lists. Lock it in your Load Order with MO2 if necessary. Do it for immersion. Your game needs it.

Why bother?

Why not. After we have modded everything there was to mod in Skyrim, I still kept running into these immersion breaking details everytime I was starting a new game. So here it is.

Compatibility

Compatible with anything that doesn't modify these characters' item lists. If you want to keep my changes. Just place it below those other mods or just at the bottom of your load order to be safe.

IMPORTANT

Compatible with Alternate Start. Fixes provided by DEEJMASTER333

If you use Alternate Start - Live Another Life, deactivate my mod before starting a new game. Create your character. Save. Activate this plugin and that's it.

If you start a new game with both LAL and this mod, you will be stuck at the main menu screen forever. For eternity. Or until you hit ctrl + alt + spr.

I don't have any idea why would these two mods conflict like this. These changes are really minor, but alas.

If anyone knows how to fix it, send me the file and I'll upload it here.
Same with creating an ESL version. If someone converts the mod, I'll happily credit and upload it here.
