I need a hint I've scoured all of solitude and I do have the legacy of the dragonborn patch installed and I'm just not finding the jump point I see the bird in the sky but I just can not locate the jump point can I get a hint an idea of it's surroundings cause I'm going mad trying to find it it's my last jump.
I'm having the same problem. Did you ever find it?
Never mind. I found it. Apparently the one originally in Solitude was moved to the spot outside of Calcelmo's quarters in Markarth and the spoilers map was not updated.
the first time I found it was by going around, which is very hard even with jump spells and shouts. In the city, behind Gisli's brother house, there is a rope. You can access it by entering his house and exiting on the balcony, or with a precise jump. Climb the rope and you get outside solitude, on the arch, above the water, for a long but easy jump.
It may be incompatible with heaven 's pathway or other mod that build a similar external path
I too would like some help finding the LotD-patched Solitude jump-point. I see the Bonehawks at the Airship dock, but no Notification that I'm at the jump point anywhere there, nor on the rocks to the side of the dock.
Does the small reduction of fall damage really work as intended? I'm using Skyrim Character Sheet and after one jump it shows 96 % damage as intended, but also 96 % after two jumps and I guess that should be 92 %.
Will this animation only work in those specified places, or can it be used pretty much anywhere? I just think it'd be pretty hilarious to faceplant off one of the Forsworn temples after running away while outnumbered lol
Install, test in a second, if it works, good, save and continue playing. If it doesn't, quit the game without saving and uninstall. Its not that difficult, please have a little bit of initiative lol.
Apologies if this has been discussed before; I haven't figured out how to quickly search hundreds of comments since the forum updates. ^^; Is there a particular reason the hawks that hint at jump locations are bone hawks instead of... hawk hawks? (lol) I never noticed before, but now that I'm using Mihail's replacers it's quite obvious that they're spooky bois. I can change them for my setup no problem, but I was just curious. ^^
I look forward to trying this mod out as soon as the mod author sanctions an OAR version and posts it here on their mod page. Thanks to skyraser98 below for contributions in this direction and hopefully getting the ball rolling, I'd just feel much better to download from jayserpa here on Nexus!
Wonderful to hear, jayserpa, thank you! Downloaded with Endorsement imminent!
Edit: oh, I also wanted to suggest to maybe mention that OAR handles the animations just as well as DAR under the Requirements on the mod page so others don't make the same incorrect assumption that I made! Thanks again!
2nd Edit: And I see that you did indeed update the Requirements listing. Endorsed. Your mod is working great, and I appreciate you and your work!
After the update to 1.04 (from 1.03), some of the jump seem to be missing : there is an eagle, and an elevated point, but no platform, and no prompt. I checked 3 locations on a new game :
Spoiler:
Show
the ones near riverwood, valheim and nihlfeim [/color]
, the second worked well, so the plugin is active, but the first and last were missing.. I checked the spoiler in the description to verify if they had just been moved, which seemed unlikely as the eagle and rock were still there, and had not reverted to vanilla appearance, but either the issue is elsewhere, or the spoiler need updating as well.

Set leap_jump to 1
(it might be leaps, I can't remember... or jump_leap) and to disable it, you just need to set it to 0.
Source: The author himself (hello!) uses OAR and this mod together without issues.
There's no need for this. Again. This mod works with OAR. If anyone is waiting for an OAR version, there is no need. I was trying to clarify this.
