I'm a VR user as well - I can confirm that this mod worked for me in a heavy load order. Note: When mods require SKSE they will often work with SKSEVR, unless that mod relies upon a .dll. If that is the case, the .dll has to be recompiled for SKSEVR.
This mod does not have a .dll (you can always preview the nexus files to check).
Regarding the use of a hotkey - I didn't test setting this to a controller input. Instead, I use Dragonborn Speaks Naturally and bound a phrase to a key input. Note: You need SkyrimVR to be the focused window for key inputs to be activated via DSN.
That is all to say - wonderful mod :)
I'll have a fallen comrade, say "Rest Well" - get your pop-up and make my selections.
Still using and loving this mod, thank you!! I did notice a small issue though. I've passed enough days in game that I'm now in the year 402, and when I buried an NPC in the month of Morning Star (January) the numeric used for the month was 00 when it should have been 01.
It's so weirdly satisfying to give powerful enemies a proper burial after a great fight, or friendly NPCs. It becomes something almost ritualistic. The char I'm playing right now is an Arkay follower so it's even more fitting. Awesome mod!
So, whenever I bury a body (trying to bury Meeko), the gravestone is placed in a floating position, no matter what surface I place his body on. Any suggestions? Does it maybe just not work on animals?
Thanks for this!! I was able to compact and esl flag it, then tested in game and was still able to bury an NPC without issue. Really appreciate this for roleplaying, and a more immersive way to clean up bodies rather than using markfordelete all the time
I really love this mod but there is one thing that bothers me. Is there a way to remove the time and date on the engravings? Or can you make it use the ingame date? It's a little weird to read the real world time and date, instead of something like "4th Era Year X" imo.
Q: Is it possible to move the corpses long distance or can you only bury where they died?
It's nice to honour a fallen member where they pass, but say for example you have a follower who dies in battle, but you don't want their stone to be in some obscure dungeon or area you'll never see again. Is there a way to move their body or stone to another location or use to make your own graveyard? I've seen comments about dragging bodies, but this would be inconvenient over long distance.

The only thing I would change about it, would be to have the activations as lesser powers rather than tying up a couple of hotkeys.
