i think it was an interesting idea but in reality never made in since why they would openly attack some big cities where they are very likely to be cut down and also make it very likely they find out there are big groups of vampires in skyrim which would start a big hunt of them and brought them to help the dawn-guard in reality even though that never happened so thats mostly why never made logical since gameplay roleplay or even lore wise
Nothing worse than a Master Vampire spawning in Whiterun at level 9, killing Belethor, Pelagia, Bruinen, and every other non-essential resident in town before the guards can stop them. I'm glad they removed it from the game.
I second this request. I have the GOG version of Skyrim AE and am experiencing NO vampire attacks in cities/towns at any level. I'm now level 50 and NOT ONE vampire attack! This is terrible - I think the vampire attacks are fun.
I keep searching but cannot find a mod to enable vampire attacks in cities/towns.
Thank you so much for this! I know Bethesda patched it out but for some reason, I was getting all of the attacks all of the time and they wouldn't stop. Right from the first moment of reaching a city, attacks would happen. Thank you.
Thank you SO much. I don't know what kind of crap i bugged out, but the vampire attacks just kept ducking happening ALL THE TIME, EVERY TIME. Even after i finished the Dawnguard DLC they just didn't stop. When im in Solitude, it's a nightmare. First the ones on the front gate, then the one in the other side of town, then when i leave it's the dogs and when i go to the wood mill IT'S A WHOLE NEW SPAWN. And as my level kept getting higher they also kept getting stronger. I even started killing them with the console because i thought they were so annoying. And even that wasn't fast enough to not let them kill the NPCs. I literally don't have functioning blacksmiths in at least 2 towns at this point, EVEN THOUGH i have a mod with resurrection magic that works wonderfully, i still got so many letters of inheritance. And don't even get me started on the NPCs that got turned into undead. I tried almost every other mod like this, but none of them worked for some reason.
Sorry for making this long by ranting, but i just wanted to let you know how much it actually means to have this mod working.

I get why from a user perspective, they can get annoying, but why would they go out of their way to add it, only to remove it in SSE?
