Random un-asked for tip - it would be very handy if you included in this guide a very short "1-2-3" step by step guide to rebuilding each of your patches.
I'm very familiar with some, like nemesis and dyndolod etc, but not others like vramr, diffuser, and especially Synthesis & other more recent developments. Also when I rebuild these patches I don't know what settings you used - I had to pick default dyndolod options, but perhaps you used advanced options... that kind of thing would be great to know.

So this is feedback from me following the guide. None of this should be taken as a personal attack, it is just where I got confused by something or ran into trouble. I am really grateful you made this and it helped more than I can say.
The SSE VR Engine fixes github page has very unclear instructions for installing it. I eventually worked it out, I think. It isn't crashing atm.
The mod list you included as a file is missing Cleaned Skyrim SE Textures. Not sure where it should go in the mod order, but MO2 wants it after SMIM so I am placing it there.
The Cathedral NPC mod has a prereq that isn't part of your mod order. Expressive Facegen Morphs SE.
I had quite a few crashes because I was using the most recent version of the Unofficial Patch. It needed the one before the Anniversary Edition came out. Lux was crashing as well as almost all the NPC replacer mods before I realized what the issue was.
Not sure Dyndolod and the assorted mods that use it should be included in a minimal list. It's too finicky and seems to be the sort of thing that requires a separate in depth guide so that you know exactly what you are doing. Important steps are missing from this and it isn't clear how to use it. I have to pass on it because I am worried about harming my Skyrim install. This could really use a link to a guide you would recommend for setting it up. Maybe I will play with it once I am really satisfied with my mods.
Enemy Evolution of Skyrim was a chore to get working. the prereqs listed by the mods on nexus had to be replaced with VR specific ones that were not listed. You need Spell Perk Item Distributor (SPID) VR, powerofthree's Tweaks VR, and VR Address Library for SKSEVR to get it working. These are in your modlist, but should probably be mentioned in the guide.
Archery Gameplay Overhaul SE is linked by the guide, but not on your modlist.
Thanks for the feedback. Modding is never simple, especially for VR which is the super niche audience. Some degree of learning/pain is always going to be needed. Notice I don't have any "how to use MO2" instructions. It is same reason I don't bother with Wabbajack and instead, refer people to FUS if they need a 100% beginner list.

3) The Expressive Facegen stuff is more important for Race Menu, which for VR is useless since we almost never look at our characters. If you read comments section a lot of people don't use it and it functions fine without it.

5) Dyndolod stuff is pretty much a standard set up for even semi-serious modders, it is super straight forward once you do it once.
I use Skyland AIO and Skyland LODS, potentially a more minimal approach compared to Dyndolod (but you are limited to Skyland), alternatively Cathedral Landscapes includes a built-in LOD already
My fellow, this is an apparently SFW modlist but now I have naked images in my download history thanks to the BnP skins. But I see the nevernude option was selected in CBBE so it's not too bad. Thanks for your work :)

Did you have a different modlist before? Try a clean Skyrim VR install. Come to Discord if you have more issue.
