Quick post, i'm going to update soon this mod with some feature asked. I've been kind of busy these days, also got covid and long covid is a bitch.
I saw a user asking for a feature and then abstain from the mod. You sir are what is wrong with the internet. And i also wanted to say that i will add that feature with the next update, but i blocked you from this content.
I installed this midgame and cant seem to tame wild horses in a field. Im currently using Realistic Animals and Predators and Immersive Horses. Is there any known incompatibility? ty
This mod was working well until I went into a dungeon for a few ingame hours and came out to find that my horse had disappeared. I'm also using convenient horses so I used the call function and nothing happened. It completely despawned. I reloaded and then tested it by sleeping in an inn for 12 in game hours and low and behold my horse was gone after I came out.
Is this a bug with this mod? Is anyone else having this issue?
Despite the name, this mod doesn't touch horse references in any way, if not just playing the animation. I also use CH and never had such issue.
I suppose you should reload a precedent save and see if the bug repeat itself, hopefully with some kind of script logging.
Technically, i would say has something to do with the alias of the horse, which it might have been released from the quest that handles it in some way. But again, this mod doesn't touch such things.

I WAS AT SEA WORLD AND SWEET TALKED A CLYDESDALE IN THE WALK THROUGH STALLS TELLING IT ALL THE OTHER HORSES HAVE NOTHING ON YOU AND SO ON. A FRIEND GRABBED MY ARM AND SAID WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE FOR THE SHOW. JUST OUTSIDE THE STALLS I HEARD BANGING THEN SOMEONE YELLING "HEY COME BACK" THE HORSE DIDN'T WANT ME TO LEAVE. LOL I HAVE A FEW MORE SIMILAR TO THAT BUT HAVE SPENT MY TYPE. LOL :-)=
I killed a bandit and attempted to adopt his horse only to be tossed off. Thinking something glitched or maybe I had pressed a wrong button, I mounted said horse again, only to be tossed even higher. I did this two or three times before I remebered it was a feature of this mod. I laughed so hard my kids came to check on me. As a final act to break its spirit, I mounted the beast once more only to be launched above the mountains, the clouds and into space only to land miles away rolling down a hillside for minutes before my death. I spit out my beer and almost fell over laughing. Reminded me of the old Giants club glitch from original release.
I still don't have a horse, but I have carrots and a curiousity to try again. Thank you for this awesome mod and all you do.
Hi Alaebasta, first of all, many thanks for the awesome mod, now I'm going to test many of the others yours, to make my playthrough as immersive as possible. I'm encountering the same issue TxRPGFAN is talking about and despite being very very funny at the beginning, I feel it breaks the immersion I'm looking for. Do you think it could be possible to reduce the unhorsing physics to something more "normal" and maybe add the damage in some other way? Really thanks and have a nice day!
I tried to tame a horse that I found near a dead bandit. Besides I got to tame it, when I dismount, the horse does as vanilla and wanders to his previous owner's rest place.
This mod covers only the property of the Horse not the horse handling system. For that i strongly suggest to use "Convenient Horses" is the best, you can force returning place of any horses you own.
Does the mod really hesitate a new save? D: Having to start all over again is too bad especially when you are level 75 or more. What are the risks otherwise?

It takes a second for Simplest Horses to register the ownership, but afterwards its smooth sailing!
