Awesome. I am running Light Armor Spellsword build and Mage Armor for an Armored Battlemage class with Ordinator - Path of Sorcery - SPERG - Apocalypse. Running also other mods including Know your Enemy and Blade and Blunt so being Light becomes very important.
    This will come in handy.

    Thank you for this.

Spelling Error: Please consider changing the filename and .esp for the optional file to 'rating' instead of 'raiting'.

Could we get a version that just makes light versions of the heavy sets craftable or just converts the helmet to light armor? I want a light armor version of the full helm for my character but I don't want to completely remove the heavy armor versions for followers etc.

sucks that there are no Medium sets in ES anymore since dawnguards heavy looks way to light compared to most other vanilla heavy sets

Someone read my mind...this is perfect and thanks for doing this.

Question: Does it replace the name of the armor as well? (Standard I believe it is listed as Dawnguard Heavy Armor, Dawnguard Heavy Boots, etc..)

Not a big deal, but just curious what name I should be looking for to test it out.

Nope, forgot to mention it in the description. The armorpiece itself should have been listed as Downguard Cuirass, boots and gloves should have "light" (Light boots etc.) before the name and the helment name was unchanged.

      Thanks for the clarification.

I did find a misspelling for one of the pieces of body armor. The darker colored version is spelled Curiass while the lighter colored version is correct Cuirass.

Just thought I'd let you know.

Again, thank you for the mod.

That's a good first step. Now, if someone were to remove those ugly pauldrons I think I would've found my favorite armor for life...

If you dont like the pauldrons why dont you just use the standard vanilla light version of the Dawnguard armor? To be honest i made this simple mod just for the looks of the heavy verison.

The normal light armor doesn't have as many belts, lacks the lower padding and those three little flasks on the hip. Overall, the Heavy version looks more like a Vampire Hunter's armor than the light one. The pauldrons are the only thing that bugs me.
