I like to play with health regen turned off but, it seems that your mod added a different healrate other than vanilla that i can't turn off. Is it possible to remove it?
Pretty late, but I can confirm that this mod modifies the healrate. I have zero healrate set up in my loadorder. Been trying for ages to find out, what mod messes with that. As long as genders.esp is active my character and companions are healing. I couldn't find anything in the ESP that touches healrate, so my only guess is, it has something to do with the script. As there's no source included, I couldn't check that.
I really don't get it too, but whatever it is, it even overrides scripted stuff like Realistic Regeneration (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/14437). I tried disabling the magic effect in the ESP, leaving only the Perk active. Still regenerating. I'm at a loss here. Giving up for now. :(
I will continue to try and reproduce it. Maybe it's something weird like dragons regenerating extremely fast when you have some mods active that just touch looks?
Haven't encountered that dragon thing yet... :) But I definately patched all conflicts in xEdit. And if I click on my PC or a follower, open console and type 'getav healrate' and 'getav healratemult' it shows 0.0. Still health regenerates. Even if I force healrate to a negative value...
The "Assoc. Item 1" for both magic effects is set to Health. I changed it to NightEye and the mod appears to work but the health regen did stop.
I don't understand what any of these things do or really mean and was basically just flipping switches one at a time to figure this out. So, I probably broke something and don't realize, but hopefully the information helps with the changing health values.
To reproduce, use SkyTweak to set the health regen and heal rate values to 0 (or 1 for mult) and see that the value will always be 0.285.
This mod seems to contain two plugins that are identical except that one has an esp extension and the other has an esl extension. The esp one can be safely flagged as esl without compacting formids, so the existence of the one with the esl extension seems like a mistake, but perhaps I'm wrong. In any case, having both plugins activated gets you duplicate perks.
This is not a criticism or anything mind you, and I find the idea for a mod actually making genders distinct gameplay wise like it kinda happened for Morrowind (where certain quests changed based on your gender) really interesting, but given your comment on how male dragonborns are the default and all I have to be pedantic and ask:
You do know the Last Dragonborn was Canonized as female as of Elder Scrolls Legends, right?
I'll be without internet for the most part from the 22. to the 22. next month, I'll get to your comments as quickly as possible, but my answering and fixing time will be way slower.

Is this still true for the latest update from DrPharmDawg (8.0.1)? It seems it's been updated since to support vampires?
