I don't understand if I need still need Immersive Weapons and SPID. What if I have another mod that requires SPID too? Is this a "fix" mod or an all-in-one?
Seems to be working, but maybe not completely -- help? For example, Vilkas has the Wolf Dadao sword in his inventory, but when he's walking around he's displaying the standard vanilla sword.. So it looks like this mod did get SPID to give him the weapon, but it's not being visually displayed... Am i missing something?? Any advice would be great thanks
that's just how SPID works. it's a Spell Perk item DISTRIBUTOR, not an item equipper. whether or not the npc will use it's up to the game to decide(ie better damage or the somehow loses his weapon). alternatively use showinventory on the npc and equip it for them manually with `equipitem [baseID] 1
Sorry. This is my mistake. To be precise, this change is only required for users playing in non-English. (Change the distribution target from character name to EditorID). Thanks for the great mod. It seems that if you have "-" or "space" in the name of the npc in the ini file, the weapon will not be distributed. This can be easily corrected by yourself. Example Eorlund Gray-Mane = EorlundGrayMane Sorry for the strange English, I'm using translations.
Thanks for the mod. In order for me to have weapons spawn on certain factions, in the DISTRI.ini do I need to put down the base ID or just name? e.g. Imperial Legion or 0002BF9A. thanks
you can use both, but not in the same place. Item = formID~esp|strings|formIDs(OR)editorIDs|min/max level,skill(min/max)|gender/unique/summonable|itemCount|chance
the string is where you can write names, form id is where you write the numbers. the stuff that is written in string override all else that is written in form id, unless its written to exclude certain npcs.
Are the iron daggers a lot of villagers wearing part of the implementation? If that's the case wouldn't it be better for the farmer type etc npcs to not carry weapons or at least not all of them? I find it odd that everywhere I go all npcs carry at least one dagger.

you dont have to do anything. 2 mods that use spid to distribute stuff wont conflict.
