Why no just cut the last sentence of the audio, e.g. "5000 gold and all is forgiven". It's better than no dialogue, which I think is what your mod currently does?
Does it matter if the gold is mentioned in the player characters answer? Just thinking out loud here! e.g. 'As i've said a donation [REMOVED] will take care of it".
Also, if we want to restore the vanilla dialogue can we just re-enable and use conflict resolution?
No, but the dialogue is only displayed when you have enough gold. Even if i make it displayed always like in some other quests/purchases, there's no appropriate answer in case you actually have no money. Though, maybe i could find something in other Nazir's lines or use the generic "No, i don't think so" if it exists for him. Or, as an alternative, make this one unvoiced, which may be better than making the main dialogue unvoiced.
You can remove the new dialogue infos and re-enable the vanilla ones. I don't think you will need any conflict resolution
I mean like when you buy a horse you have a dialogue like "I'm buying this one (X gold)" and if you don't actually have X gold you usually get response like "come when you get enough money, looser". there's no dialogue for such a response among this quest's dialogues
