You deserve 10,000 likes! Your script completely resolved the water seam issues in my game! I noticed many people in the comments are unsure how to proceed, so I’ve documented the steps I took for reference. Here’s what I did:

    1. Do not install the water mod you want yet.

    2. Load your entire modlist in xEdit.

    3. Select all plugins except for Skyrim.esm, Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm, HearthFires.esm, Dragonborn.esm, and Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp, then run the script on them and save the processed plugins.

    4. Install the water mod you want.

    5. Launch the game and check for water seams.

    6. If water seams still persist, run the script on the water mod itself.

I can confirm that Water for ENB needs to be processed.

    Hope this helps!

Highly underrated tool. Amazing clean work.

Thank you for providing it and sharing this tool.

Tip for everyone else to find which mods conflict with the new water flow:

READ FULLY AND BE SMART, FOLLOW AT YOUR OWN RISK, IF YOU ARE BEING HASTY AND STUPID DON'T BLAME ME OR THE AUTHOR OF THIS AMAZING TOOL.

1- Load all your mods in SSEEDIT.

2- Single left click on any mod then press CNTRL+A

3- While holding CNTRL, a single left click to deselect mods from being highlighted. You want to deselect all the official files, USSEP & your water mod such as WATER.

4- Right click on any of the highlighted mods and select apply script, and select the script unblest provided, the one that does not create a patch esp.

5- Whatever message comes up, usually make update.esm master files, select yes/OK.

Now the script would have applied to all mods that conflicted with update.esm water flow, you will see them BOLDED on the left side by SSEEDIT. Take note of those mods on a paper or a text document.

THIS IS IMPORTANT IF YOU TRY TO CLOSE SSEEDIT IT WILL ASK YOU TO SAVE THE CHANGES TO THE ESPS, DON'T, MAKE SURE THEY ARE UNTICKED AND DON'T SAVE THE CHANGES.

The method above is just to help you find which mod conflict with the new water flow, a little logic and you should know which mods is supposed to do so and which mod is not suppose to. For example, Water mods is supposed to, while mods that add hold banners at the borders should not.

Great idea. This should be done if you have WATER or RWT and the script doesn't fix it.

      Thank you, good idea!
What bothers me: it shows me some plugins in bold mode, I clean them one by one applying the script, but some like Inigo.esp are clean (after applying script: „done. 0 entries changed“), but everytime the same esp will be highlighted again in „search mode“. Can‘t explain it....

Another alternative that you can try is by going directly under SkyrimSE.esp and selecting the water record and then selecting the records under that to see which ones they conflict with. And making sure to deselect those mods when running the script. I recommend also doing this with the word update and whatever water mod you are currently using.

Also, why do you want to deselect USSEP? That changes no water files.

So, I followed the steps here and had 20 of my plugins highlighted which seemed like a lot to me.  Looked into to it by checking the comments in mod pages and it seems that most of the mods should have correct water records (a few even mention checking with this script).  I don't want to go ahead and apply the script to all of these mods until I'm sure... is there a possibility that I've done something wrong which would result in the Update.esm being skewed?  The only dynamic patches I've created are Lodgen and Dyndolod... haven't touched anything else in xEdit.

I fixed the lines but now noticed another glitch upon the bridge (Skyrim Bridges mod), small waterfall particles, there are screenshots. I don't remember if this appeared after this fix or already was there before. If anyone can tell me how to remove this would be great

This ended up being the only solution to fix the water in my game, once you generate the .esp patch, place it at the very bottom of your load order, this is very important otherwise it won't work.

This easy fix not only fixed my water flow problem but for some reason now the water blends beautifully with the shore line, I can no longer see where the water ends and where the shore starts. Before, it was a horrible white line between water and land, very immersive breaking. Up to this day, I honestly have given all hope for a fix. Where was this gem hidden all this time? The first fix (script) was enough for some reason, I did not have to make any patch. I can't recommend this mod/fix enough, thank you.

Yeah right, I've definitely come across this near converted locations. So that's what does it. Nice, thank you kindly for this fix. It really deserves to be better known. A genuine hidden gem.
