Anyone know what happens if you load this alongside Talkative Dragons? Does it affect other dragons and make them use only the other language versions without the actual other language stuff?
Would it be possible to only exchange the "Dovahkiin, no!" line/audio file with the 'French' one? Only that seems to be the issue and one could possibly save an esp too
Sure, just extract the .bsa and keep the appropriate .fuz file (I have forgotten which it is, sorry). You would then have the issue of Mirmulnir having an inconsistent voice however. Also, the .esp included is marked as an .esl so it doesn't actually take up a plugin slot, so getting rid of it doesn't really save anything.
Thanks! Well, it does save a slot if you hit the roof of total loaded plugins the engine will accept, not only esps. I don't remember the number, but eventually you get instantly corrupted saves with too many plugins, esl or otherwise. I'll check to see how inconsistent it feels with only replacing that particular sound file! Might still be worth it over the awkward English one.
This is so great. It took me a while to figure out it was USSEP adding the voicing; I guess the last time I played through the main quest was before they added that fix and I thought it must be another mod. I think your choice of the French lines is great and matches the English dragon lines very well; mixes convincingly with 'Dragons shout with voice'
Wow nice difference! When i was using USSEP years ago, I had forgotten how cringe that audio is! I think the French and Spanish versions are the best, thanks for this small but oh so noticeable immersion enhancement! :)
Huh, I don't really hear it in the dragon language lines, but I'm not particularly sensitive to accents. I liked the French best but there's two or three other languages which also use "no!" so I'll put those up as well tomorrow and people can choose the one which sounds least accented to them.
Edit: the Spanish and Italian alternates are now up. The other languages translate "no", unfortunately.
