Latest:

Goron receives 1.3 update. New skin available as an outfit.
Kagouti receives a 1.3 update. Basically it allows you to choose between its original skin, and its new, higher quality, remade skin.


Notes:


Progress / General:

1.0 Versions covered basic implementation.

1.1 Updates covered extras such as Weapons, Armors, Spells, FX, Race Entry faithfulness, Taunts, Skeletons

Additional Formats Update covered:
Stand-Alones, SE Ports and XBOX ports.

1.2 Updates covered polymorph time options and female availability (with sex specific skins/races enforced).

Now both the Compilation and Stand-Alones are updated to version 1.2 and have had their additional formats produced.

There are some exceptions:
Rotten Maiden, Lurcher and Gronn are LE exclusives.
Not every monster made their way to XBOX. These are the non Mihail/Skinwalker21 monsters and the Blood Drake.

In regards to Sex Specific Skins / Races:

Male Only = Gravelord, Zombie, Ice Titan, Sea Giant, Sasquatch, Rock Golem
Female Only = Samaria, Rotten Maiden
Mixed (Contains Skins For Each Sex Separately) = Alt. Vampire Lord, Mourning Soul, Woolly Thunderhorn

Some monsters are permanent polymorphs as they have a bug present were reverting back crashes the game. To get around this, they have been made
permanent and are like the others, labelled specifically as such.
The monsters in question are:
Tyrannosaurid, Clannfear, Samaria, Scamp, Banekin, Dwarven Driller, Hunger, Spitter,
Dwarven Thresher, Mourning Soul, Woolly Thunderhorn.

In case it's not already provided via the polymorph spell, make sure if you transform into the Dwarevn Thresher that you stock up on arrows before hand.


Installation:

Install via Nexus Mod Manager, Vortex, whatever. Dragging and dropping the mods' data folder into your Skyrim Data folder will work too.
You will need this crash fix: monster race crash fix (z65536)


In Game:

Craft tomes at a forge for one gold each.

You should probably polymorph outside of friendly settlements otherwise they'll get mad. Use the become friendly spell to safely re-enter without hostility.

There are a handful of monsters that might require the original playable monster mod (see credits) to be installed (role-play version) after this mod, and for FNIS to be run. Czart is one of those monsters. Gorgonops and Clannfear might also be included.

Third person only.

You may need to wait for mods such as SKSE, Address Library and Monster Race Crash Fix to update in conjunction with official Skyrim SE updates for the mod to become as playable as it was previously. Such is the nature of SE updates.

May-June 2022 Update:

1.2 Updates are being rolled out. They include the following:

- Ability to polymorph whilst playing female characters / Sex Specific Skins Enforced
- Ability to choose between polymorphing for 40 seconds, 3 minutes and permanently
- XBOX One Port

Pack 1 Monsters, Cyclops, Fogling, Kagouti

28th JAN Update:

It's done. All stand-alones have received their 1.1 updates which means all stand-alone monsters will have (where applicable) their extra skins, weapons, FX, spells, faithful stats etc.

Due to technical limitations, the Gronn, Rotten Maiden and Lurcher are all LE Exclusives.


January / 2022 Updates:

1.1 Stand-Alone releases will continue to be uploaded over the next 90 days.

1.2 updates will come after (which will include XBOX ports where possible).

For those interested, you can ask for exclusive, private content on the discord.

If you're copy of the following stand-alones doesn't work, run the Zip through Cathedral Assets Optimizer and re-install, because that's an LE version that was accidentally uploaded. Hell-Hounds, Barghest, Dwarven Magetta, Giant Centipede, Rock Atronachs, Samaria, Sea Giants, Werebats.


NOV, DEC Updates:


Fixed Dwarven Driller, Samaria (makes them permanent to fix revert bug), and Ettin, Gravelord, Nekker (you can actually craft their tomes
now).
Rotten Maiden is now alongside the Gronn - an LE exclusive. Lurcher is temporarily an LE exclusive until further notice. So they won't be apart of the SE version.

Pack 1 finally uploaded for SE in full

Pack 2 finally uploaded for SE in full (Minus the Rotten Maiden which does not work for SE). The Lurcher will become available later.

Packs 3-5 finally uploaded for SE in full

Pack 6 finally uploaded for SE, in full (Minus the Gronn which does not work for SE).

*Side note If you play as a Dwarven Thresher, the normally supplied bolts won't work, so make sure you have some arrows with you (e.g. iron, daedric).

Stand-alones will be uploaded.

Updates (Initial):

The LE updates are being slowly rolled out here. The main files have been updated so now in SE you will have completely finished monsters. The only thing that needs to be worked on is the Art Asset pack work. As stated below, not every monster is going to be available right away, and then there are some changes that have been made to the compositions of the Art Asset Packs (that are critical for certain monsters to work) that have not been rolled out here yet. But for the monsters that ARE available, they are 100% finished, rather than being just simply implemented.

What's different about this port?

They've said to me that there are a bunch of Mihail mods that are hidden for SE. That means no corresponding SE port for those creatures just yet. You will see what monsters are available on the Pack descriptions in the file section.
There are no stand-alones as of yet. They haven't made any SE versions.

Notes:

If you don't feel like downloading all the art packs, just check the packs for the listed monsters and download the ones that have the monsters you are interested in (and don't use the monsters that you aren't downloading in-game).

What is the 'Revert Bug'?
Some monsters crash upon revert. Those monsters will be made permanent transformations to prevent this.

User '3ncore' has indicated that this mod is compatible with 'No Crafting Animations'. This should allow you to use crafting stations even when transformed, and would be fitting for humanoid appearing creatures like the Thri-Kreen or Sea Giants.
