I do not know if I understood you properly. But I seem to understand that your Tundra have the same color as something else. If you want the colors from this mod, you need to make sure that THIS mod overwrites all other mods and that no other nature mods overwrites THIS one. I've installed several other texture mods on my side AFTER this one and I make sure that THIS mod always loads AFTER my other nature mods.
OHHHHHHH! Yes, indeed. It's because in my modded game, installing the entire Tamrielic textures made it a nightmare to resolve conflict because I had to individually manage each texture just to keep the mossy cliffs. This is why I chose to create a separate texture because I find that Tamrielic's dirt cliffs are spot on and even nice when texture are flat without parallax. This makes modding better.
I'll edit my post definition to clarify this for other people.
Hellooo hey I just wanted to say I'm so happy to have stumbled across this. Dirtcliffs were one of the last things that I wasn't quite happy with, and these looks great. Thanks for taking the time to get permission and upload it.
Well, thank you for taking the time to post a comment. I take no credit for the textures but I do appreciate the author to have given me permission to retrieve only the cliff textures so that us, that have big nature mod lists can cover those areas specifically.
Unfortunately, no. These were taken directly from the original author's mod. So I suggest you check with the original author for a possible parallax texture or update.
I installed the main files , scattered them in folders on the date . Not a single texture appeared . From texture mods , Luxor is installed . Tell me what I 'm doing wrong ?
I'm a bit confused with what you said here: "installed the main files , scattered them in folders on the date" As for Luxor, I did not find this texture mod on Nexus. At least, if I type Luxor in the search.
So a few things, if you install through Vortex or other mod managers, this will ONLY replace texture files. So there is no ESPs and load order should not have any effect. Now, INSTALL order WILL have an effect though since this replaces loose files. To get the textures, you need to install this at the very end of your texture mods list so that it can replace any texture files other mods have changed. I hope this helps a bit.
Very nice but with the load order i have I am missing these>>> \landscape\dirtcliffs\dirtcliffsediment01.dds \landscape\dirtcliffs\dirtcliffsediment01_n.dds
I am guessing they are a part of Tamrielic textures so grabbing that right now for myself but other people may need those since the .nifs you have reference them.
I totally forgot those. I saw them but did not include them for some reason, I only concentrated on looking at mossy textures. I will re-upload with the included dds files. Thank you for letting me know
Glad to help Might want to let people know it will overwrite (not compatible) with better dirt cliffs and alphas mod. however…. I was able to combine them by not using the meshes that reference the textures above. :)
I added a small note at the bottom mentionning I did not add any dirt cliff or cliff roots textures because I use other mods for this but I will surely add your suggested compatibility information. Thank you very much by the way.
With all those mods available, a mod author (or uploader in this case) cannot detect every single different possible interfering mods so it's very helpful to have a comment like yours. Thank you a lot!!!
I know exactly what you mean. Being an author of mods myself it became clear that there is an infinite amount of variation between load orders, and some like mine are a mish mash combination of quite a few different authors. There isn’t any way I know to add content to the game (meshes and textures) without conflicting with something else out there. Best is to provide as much information as possible to people and let them sort it out from there. BTW That was one thing I wasn’t entirely pleased with in my game. The textures on the dirt cliffs. So thank you for breaking this down for a specific area and for making my game more beautiful Endorsed..
I am creating a mod guide which should come out soon. I am in my last part where I need to setup the proper list of mods to install for NATURE. There is just SOOOOO many nature mods out there and they all have their one little good thing. So you INDEED end up with a bunch of different nature mods conflicting with one another and finding the right files to overwrite properly is just a pain. So I am happy that this mod will now be part of my guide to cover the dirt cliff stuff. And yes, like you, I was very disapointed by the dirt cliffs and surprisingly, I did not find anyone covering those either unless they were part of huge overhauls like Tamrielic Textures.
I just found one tiny problem that I just cannot control. Bethesda, somehow, decided to use grass textures for most cliff tops instead of using...well, cliff grass because they do have those textures. Initially, I only included cliff textures to realise that grass and tundra textures were used in a few places. So I said to myself, heck with it, I'll grab the textures myself. So I asked the author for permission and I chose to upload this mod. So thank you for appreciating my upload, although I take no credit in the textures, it still is good to receive compliments for the effort of sorting the proper textures out and make a separate mod for it.

Thanks and have a nice day bro :D

Just a heads up.
