If anyone is using Easynpc in conjunction with this patch, Easynpc initially said that this patch was missing the panorable dawnguard master. I thought at first that this patch required the non-ussp version of pandorable's dawnguard npcs, but when I ran Easynpc again, the patch wasn't missing the pandorable dawnguard master. So, you can use the ussp version with this patch while using Easynpc. Don't know if that will help anyone but I figured I would mention it anyway.
Why are the two mods incompatible? As far as i know Dawnguard Arsenal just adds some weapons and spells, it doen't change the npcs themselves. Just being curious, i'm interested in installing both mods.
Because of how Skyrim works. Pandorable's mod copies the vanilla NPC record and changes the appearance fields in that record. Dawnguard Arsenal copies the vanilla NPC record and changes the abilities/spell and equipment. Depending on which one you load first, you either lose the appearance changes or the spell & equipment changes.
This patch copies the appearance fields from Pandorable and the spell & equipment records from Dawnguard Arsenal into a new patch which loads after both. Voila.
Note that every mod which edits the same record as another mod has a conflict without a patch like this.
So that means Pandorable will conflict with other mods that change weapons equipped by NPCs? For instance, i have Royal Armory installed, so that would mean i have to choose between that and Pandorable + Dawnguard Arsenal i suppose? Thank you very much for the help btw
I made this for personal use and offered it to Pandorable to add as a sticky on her mod page. I uploaded it at her request. If the patch exists somewhere on one of the billion patch collections on the nexus, then you can use that one instead. This is going to make things easier for people visiting her mod for the first time.
There are minor differences between the patches. Some vanilla elements from Pandorable's mod overwrite changes made in Dawnguard Arsenal that aren't aesthetic on the other patch. For that reason, I'd prefer to use the patch I made. if you care to look into said changes, fire up XEdit.

That's probably just what some of us wanted to know :) Thank you. I will now use this patch instead of the other one.
