Hey, I've had this mod stuck in my head since I first found it and tried it. I ended up really liking it and how goofy it felt to walk in to a tavern covered in blood and dirt and see the tavern waitress doing interpretive dance in the corner! It actually got me thinking, would it be possible to use DAR conditions like you did with animations from something like the sse port of ShakeIT to give the dancers even MORE moves to bust out?
You can incorporate the animations. Just stick to the layout of my mod. For instance, my mod contains a folder named "18338". Simply duplicate and rename that folder to "18339". Then, open the folder and swap out the animations you desire. Rename the animations from the "Shake it" mod with those from mine, and replace the renamed animations accordingly
I think we need a patch for immersive citizen and also an option for the NPC to dance regardless of whether the bard sings or not because with immersive citizen he tends to do what he wants.
Is it possible to add a condition that when the bard plays, NPCs have a chance to dance, regardless of whether they're drinking or not? That would be similar to what ICAIO does, through quest aliases, but ICAIO's AI only works where the appropriate inn markers have been put in place. If your mod could be used as a base for conditional dancing through DAR, it might make it work whenever and wherever a bard started singing/playing. That would be nice :)
Thank you your mod is great, one of the best animation mods I've tested. It works perfectly and has a 0 impact on performance. The level of immersion in taverns has risen in one fell swoop
There's an animation that I wish I knew what it was called but it's very jarring. When it loops, the dancer jerks back to the beginning of the dance, it's not smooth like the rest. Has anyone encountered the dance I'm talking about?
can i create more folders and add other animations with the same conditions? You have two files in both DAR folders, which one is the dance animation and which one is the applause? animobjectcheer and animobjectcheerslow?
You can add all the folders you want, but you need to change also the probablility in the condition (random).
For your second question, animobjectcheer and animobjectcheerslow are dance animations in my mod (both), i added like 3 or 4 different dance animations.
