Great mod, though - Anyone else had the issue of the short dreads disappearing when reloading a save? Happens on Dark Elves and High Elves; so its stopping me from using it more.
I've been having an issue with my swings not connecting in horse combat, and I've narrowed it down to this mod. Apparently mods such as this one have a history of screwing with horse combat (bethesda logic). Is there any way to fix this, as I really do love this mod but I can't play with broken horse combat.
Confirming your findings. This mod breaks mounted combat. From what I read, it has to do with mods that alter race records but don't include the mounted combat update. This causes the actor to not have the proper animations that actually give him the ability to cause damage.
Shame too since Im currently doing a last kingdom inspired playthrough and really needed the hairstyles found in this mod.
Well it aint Beth logic. This mod adds a couple of character presets to the Nord race, which inadvertently override the race record back to vanilla, and disregarding Dawnguard changes, including mounted combat. But its easy enough to fix. If you load it high in your order and have another mod that edits races its fine as it will likely be overwritten by that mod. Otherwise just open in xEdit and delete the race entry. It's not required for the hairs. This issue wont affect player characters who are races other than Nord.
I just cant seem to get this mod to work for my Special Editon version of Skyrim, worked fine for OLDRIM.. But it just dont do anything when I use it in Skyrim SE? :/ I am installing it manually, and draging it to my Data folder under in my Special Edition folder! Need help!
I was hoping I could use this for a male follower .. As I feel that the male characters are woofully lacking. Perhaps it is because so many play as a female. However it's still sad to see that the male characters seem to be less catered too.It would be great if there was eyebrows .hair (that more manly than apachii). bethesda for some reason think all men have very bushy eyebrows .Yes that might be true for an older man but a man in their 20s and even 40s doesn't . I do like this mod and thank you for the work
I really like this mod. I feel it should have been in the vanilla game all along. I only have a few problems with it. It seems that the hair mash isn't connected to the different races, so it's like a weird glitch at the scalp. I think you could easily fix this. Another thing I would like to see is some hairstyles added to the Khajiit, I'm mainly talking about the beards. Speaking of witch. It seems it have duplicated on some of the races; Nords, Imperials, Redguard, etc. It would be really nice if this was fixed as well. I love that you have added the beards to the elvish races. I always wanted an elf with a long beard, and now I got one. Overall I would recommend this mod to all my friends.
If you could make the male hair on the females too, and vice versa, I'll really, really, really love this mod.
