I'm definitely adding your mod and would have even if I went back to the Personalized mod.
I do recommend your adding the directions on how to get the outdated number issue resolved for Personalized as it's not terribly complex and can be done easily using the quick auto-clean in the xEdit utility.
Edit: I just want to make sure I have this right. I install the .xwm files via NMM's "install from file" tab then install the plugin?
Hi - I forgot to put the instructions in the zip. You need to install the .xwms manually I believe. I've never installed the mod, didn't make it, I just update it.
Well, hauling the music files into a plugin-generated folder or just, you know, into the music folder is a thing I can do. I'm just making sure I should before I do.
Yeah, that worked. I went into the NMM mod repository, read the directions, and it's all in. Great tunes, too.
I really like this music and I'm glad I grabbed it. It adds a nice amount of depth and variety to the game. Also, the esp seems to work just fine! If anyone is using other music mods, you will need to make a patch to hear the music from all your music mods, but it's really easy to do. Thank you for this music and I look forward to anything else you make!
I absolutely adore your music in Oblivion and Morrowind (as I'm sure I've mentioned on the Nexus before hehe!) but for the life of me just cannot get this working with Skyrim. I put the .XWM tracks into "/Music/The Lackey" inside the mods MO2 folder, (as specified by the readme) enable the esp in MO2 and Skyrim crashes on loading my save.
Is anyone able to give me a little shove in the right direction? I really love these tracks but I'm gutted I can't get them working :(
Hi! - I think there was an issue causing crashes, hopefully fixed. I finally added newer songs to the esp as well - and 2 new xmw songs - if you download the new esp make sure you get the updated XWM.zip file as well.
but, for me, the electronic keyboard is a little jarring on the higher note pitch. a real piano is the opposite, the lower notes resonate and sort of fade into the ambiance, but the electronic sound makes the higher notes stick around instead of the sharp exclamation they would make on a piano.
