I downloaded the Simple version of the mod and I'm unable to use it. Nexus can't install it because I don't have permission to edit, read, or write the file. I tried taking ownership but I'm not sure how to fix it.
I was hoping this was fixed... luckily i found a replacement "Simple Colored Map Markers SSE". The colors work on the compass!!! Which is a big deal once you get use to it lol. It's more like the simple version of this mod, and a couple of the colors are swapped but it's honestly pretty much the same. If you liked the simple version of this, give it a try.
Thanks for doing this! Was starting to think we would never be able to colour our map markers in SSE compared to the original mod only being available for original Skyrim.
Not sure if anyone is still reading those and is able to help, but I have a problem with this mod. On my map the makers are still black and white, although I installed the multi colored version. Markers are colorful on the compass though. I'm also using A Quality World Map mod, which is supposed to be compatible with this one. I'm new to mods but I tried to check the load order, but I don't see the marker mod at all. I have the Unofficial patch and few house mods, and some character mods, but nothing else that should (in theory) affect the map in any way. Is there anyone that could help me please?

Does this mod use a separate color for player homes? I have been going crazy trying to find them, and now that there are so many I can't remember them all and can't find any of them.
