uhhhh apparently this blew up? (at least at my level of modding) basically what happened is I use the argonian dragon priest mask mod thing, which for one reason or the other over-wrote the USP version. I'm currently running my game with a patch for that old ported mod that works, and I'll fix it up to be uploaded here tomorrow. Sorry for the confusion, all my mistake.

Kudos to you, TaffyAdam, for fixing the mod description and name, and more importantly, for being able to laugh at it - an all too rare virtue, that!

With all due respect, there is nothing fixed here as it WAS fixed by the Unofficial Patch.  All you did was remove the Patch's description record (which is correct, by the way), which has no effect except as to what is displayed in the information box - otherwise you have exactly the same records as the Unofficial Patch - and thus, exactly the same effects - which were already corrected by the patch.

Also, just to add, while the other effects for the other masks are specifically named, there is no effect specifically named after Morokei - it is just named after the type of Dragon priest mask - moonstone.

confirmed.  It is unfixing the description with no other changes to the USSEP fix.
@ Author:  I think you need to learn how to use Xedit to resolve conflicts in your mods.  Right from the USSEP pages

You either don't have USSEP properly activated or you're using another mod that is overwriting and reverting the USSEP fix. If you're sure
USSEP is activated try loading all of your mods in xEdit and checking for conflicts to FormID: 00061C8B.

As much as I love any opportunity to clown on USSEP for all the terrible issues it has, this isn't one of them. This fix is identical to the one in USSEP.

OP you sure you don't have another mod that was overwriting USSEP's changes to this mask?

Yeah USSEP team, damn you, get your act together! Ussep needs to make a patch for this patch that undoes the ussep patch so the author of this patch can make a patch again that undoes the changes of usseps patch that fixes the changes of this mod that undoes the changes of ussep. Get your act together USSEP!

14 June 2021, 10:13AM The actual form that applies the shout power is 0001729E, the enchantment applied. It is completely untouched by USSEP, so the only possible cause would be an overwrite. All USSEP does is alter the ARMO form to include the missing description info on the Shout cooldown.

The above comment is right from the pages of ussep.

For all you USSEP scoffers.  If it wasn't for ussep, we would have hundreds or thousands of fixes to install to fix the Vanilla game before we even started modding.  Let that sink in a little.  Even with USSEP,  I have a lot of fixes installed.

I think even the people who dislike USSEP use it. They complain because it is a little... overbearing in some parts. It likes to pick and choose what it fixes, sometimes not fixing things that should be within its realm (like the Serana and Vampire Lord damage bug) while messing with a few things that aren't really bugs or glitches (like turning Redbelly Mine into an Iron Mine).

The real problem comes in it being basically the only mod that does a large amount of bug fixes, so you're either forced to work with some of Arthmoor's unnecessary changes or play a game that always wants to rip itself and your saves apart in the most brutal fashion it can. If it were like Morrowind where there's the big fat unofficial patch and the "Purist Patch" USSEP wouldn't get half as much s#*! as it does.

I think they do a pretty good job for the most part.  Yes some things are open to interpretation, and they're the ones doing the interpreting, so they fix to their standards.  They also have a mandate that says they fix bugs in the vanilla game, and if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  And I'm cool with that.  It keeps USSEP completely compatible with all other mods.  I don't necessarily agree with all of their choices, but then I'm free to make my own patches, or alter theirs for my own purpose.  Either way, we the users, gain far more benefit by using it, then not.  And you can't make everybody happy.

Translation: the override is identical to the one in USSEP, with the exception that it clobbers the added description. Basically it undoes 1/2 of the fixed entries added by USSEP.
