So there's an issue between this and nature of the wildlands where certain spawn points this creates cause mushrooms to be floating. I noticed this in and around Riverwood mostly.
This mod, as is, is not compatible with DynDOLOD. TexGen runs fine, but when running DynDOLOD afterwards, it always throws an "object not found" error, referring to purple mountain flowers. When running DynDOLOD with this mod deactivated, it works fine though.
I just got this error as well, and there's a little more info in the Bugs tab. If you're familiar with xEdit, just open this plugin, find the error in question, and change it to PICFLST Critter - MultiList "MountainFlower".
Disabling and re-enabling the plugin won't cause any LOD issues, but that particular flower won't spawn any new critters like it's supposed to (whether or not you use DynDOLOD).
@supinnah just dropping by to say that this fix worked for me, thanks so much. The DynDOLOD error on this mod has been annoying me for a couple of years & I didn't know how to begin solving it.
Are there supposed to be a lot of bugs spawning at once? I mean, just an massive amount of bugs? In less than a minute, I caught around a dozen torchbugs in Riverwood, and a similar number of butterflies in Riften.
I know that the description lists "large groups," so this may be exactly what was intended. It's also possible that this mod is interacting with something else in my load order (though MO2 shows no conflicts).
Also, while this doesn't bother me much... does anybody else have bugs freezing in midair, and flying through walls?
I wish I had info for you but I wanted to say that I came here looking for a solution to the same problem. Butterflies etc just static and floating in the air. No idea on how to fix it but I'd like to see it happen because of the amount of *life* this mod adds to the game world. With the bugs just floating statically it kinda hurts my immersion.
The freezing mid air and clipping through walls sound like vanilla game issues. Are they near flowers when they freeze? It's usually a misplaced perch marker telling them there's something to land on when there isn't. And yeah I don't know how to prevent the clipping issue unfortunately.
Does this mod have an MCM Menu? I think that would be perfect for a mod like this and also, would this need a patch for the mod One With Nature?
That is an excellent mod which uses an MCM Menu and allows you to choose the creatures and animals and whether they spawn afraid of you, whether they attack, it has several settings for all creatures, it really is one of the handiest mods out there.
Endorsed and installed this mod, thank you TrueDraconis!
