Summary
In vanilla, the Thalmor Embassy building cannot be entered again after Diplomatic Immunity, as the front door locks with a 'Requires Key' level lock, with no key actually available to the player. This means that the player cannot return here to explore, loot, or kill anyone without utilising exploits. This is particularly annoying as after Season Unending, Elenwen loses her essential flag and can potentially be killed by the player (Very immersive post-Stormcloak victory), yet cannot be reached as she returns to the embassy behind the locked door.
This mod simply makes the re-locked door a Master level lock rather than an unpickable one. It is still unpickable prior to the completion of Season Unending, to prevent breaking the questline by entering the building early or potentially break Season Unending if you've made Elenwen hostile before her role in the story is finished. If Season Unending does not trigger due to the status of the Civil War, the door will become pickable midway through The Fallen at the point it would have triggered.
Installation
Simply download and install with the mod manager of your choice (Recommended) or manually extract to your Data folder.
Compatibility
Edits The Fallen quest (MQ301) and its attached script, but does not touch any of the cells or actors directly. A version based on the USSEP version of the quest is available. Both main files are ESL flagged.
