This is pretty cool, but I had an "issue" with the inn... I rented a bed, went dowstairs and the owner attacked me because I was tresspassing. I killed him, but I cannot sleep in there, it says I'm tresspassing.
Have been using this mod for a while now. Just wanted to let the author know that this mod is brilliant in how it adds a whole bunch of "old-lore" TES nord vibes in such a simple and elegant form. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for the great work! A bit nitpick though. This mod town has not too similar but not that distinct name with canon Skyrim place, Windstad Manor. So, my first thought when encountering LE version of this mod is 'Wow, another mod Windstad town. Might be nice." But when I see description, it turns to be new town in Winterhold. My request is, can you give clarification in description page?
Just a head's up Axis - the innkeeper is using female animations. It's not an incompatibility, I'm in the testing phase atm, no animation mods are active, strictly UI and location overhauls testing for compatibility and taste. Got a good chuckle when this large man with a burly moustache approached me with a dainty little saunter. Well done on this little village, very reminiscent of ancient viking steadings. Cool vibes.
I dont remember ever seeing him have female animations... Maybe its some faction or keyword or something from another mod causing my Burly Innkeeper to approach you like a dainty seductress?
Turns out there was an animation mod requiring nemesis active in my LO for some reason?... Didn't even realize it until Rothis's head turned invisible and he floated behind me in a tpose. Forgive my blondeness.
1: would you ever consider adding support or patches for any ferry or travel mods
2: have you heard about SKVA Synthesis?? It's an AI tool that synthesizes new voice lines based on bioware NPC voices. This is your first attempt at follower modding, you said, which sounds like you plan to continue in the future or perhaps add increased complexity? IDK how complicated SKVA synthesis is to use, I just saw some samples on YouTube, but it looks really friggin cool and might be useful to you if you want to make new lines. Seems easier than tedious dialogue splicing.
Might be worth messing around with a little. From how excited modders were about it, it seems like it could ultimately make your dialogue-creating life easier.
yep. I'm trying to work on that in future mods. This was baby's first quest mod basically. Hopefully the next thanedom will have a proper quest, and I hope to add some basic radient quests for Hamlets of Winterhold
