I tested with 3 and 5. When I had 5 sometimes 2 had a pathfinding problem for short distances and there, where also random NPCs sometimes have problems. But overall my 5 are significant closer or speed up if one fall back.
Edit: it *may* be also depend what mod you have for your followers. I tested it with iAFT installed. Other mods for Followers I did not test.
Edit2: As player Home I have Elysium Estaint, and that had a batch with 5 places, and when I go in water all 5 are close at me within seconds. That was not before.
I tried this mod with no other mod (except a follower, of course, and alternate start). New game. Just one follower. I see and tweak the MCM, but no changes. Thing that puzzles me is that it's exactly the same with followers as companions : No changes. It must be something on my side, but I don't see what it could be.
then check, if the scrips are in right folder and SKSE is installed well. (and at least: install also iAFT, as there 'may' be a relation, all tests made, not only mine, had AFT installed. Pure follower w/o follower mod never got tested, LOL)
BTW: it also should work with a pet as follower.
I assume that if you translated this mod, it works for you. I would like it works for me too, but no luck. Does the mod really change the distance between player and follower ?
