You could open the console and type this to get the FormID: help "crafting manuals" Look a the line that says BOOK (xxxxxxxx) 'Crafting Manuals'. The FormID is the hex-number xxxxxxxx. Then type this to have the book in your inventory: player.additem xxxxxxxx 1
Might be a good idea to see if you can give us an Optional download to make your .ESP an ESPfe. And Thank You for making this, I've been dreading trying having to alt-tab back and forth to a browser window to find these manuals hehe.
A new version 2.1 is available now with some changes and an optional ESPFE. The mod adds a new book, so xEdit had to compact its FormID before flagging the esp as an esl. As a general rule, use the ESPFE-version only if you’re installing this mod for the first time in a playthrough or start a new game - otherwise the correct FormIDs would not be referenced.
Downloading and installing should be pretty straightforward. Please make sure that after installing the file "Crafting Manuals - inventory.esp" is in the Data folder of Skyrim Special Edition. There should also be a subfolder "CraftingManuals" in Data\meshes and another subfolder "CraftingManuals" in Data\textures.
I enable this mod and I have the book in my inventory but I can't find the the Crfting manuals on the markrd locations..What I must do? I have some of the crfting manuals ""Meta assasin and ""Rougue armor I find them before I have this mod . Everithing else missing .
Hey, I had the mod for the dx armors already installed and then i downloaded this mod. When i went into the game the book was not on my inventory. Does it only appear if i create a new save?
Nice! I've only found some of the books by myself, and now because of a few interior overhauls, some books are misplaced. With this mod, at least I know where it's worth using tcl...
