Dude. You are an absolute LEGEND! Anyone who sees this, yes. This fix works great! I love this armor, but I could never really enjoy it because of the first person glitch. Now I can! Thank you so much for sharing with us! :D
Then I'll stick this one, so you guys don't miss it (at least that's what I hope) Thanks to TalQual for finding a solution and sharing it with the community
Don't ask, not going to upload this on bethesda.net nor give permissions to anyone to do so. IF you should see this mod on bethesda.net please let me know as soon as possible.

Though I have read through the various posts about the helm, I do still have a question.
Looking at the mod in SSEEdit, under the 'Constructible Object' group, the 'TemperArmorQuestYngolBarrowSteelPlateHelmet' looks like it was changed to use 2 items, 1 Steel Ingot and 1 Leather, whereas the original only required the steel. If I remove the Leather requirement, it should not affect this mod's added set in any way, correct?
Nothing immediately jumped out as a potential point of concern, but I am not always 100% sure how changes in 1 section in SSEEdit might affect another.
Thanks for the help, and I hope y'all all have a great day!
Why the hell this needs to edit the Helm of Yngol when this just adds a cuirass, gauntlets and boots is beyond me...just messes up other mods that make changes to the helm.
Beautiful armor and worth the install, but screwing with the helm is entirely unnecessary and just makes it a nuisance to have to patch.
Does any one know if this mod is safe to download if you've already done the dungeon and got the helm? I forgot to grab this before I started playing and now I have regrets lol.
There shouldn't be any problem if you already cleared the dungeon I suppose. Iirc I just added a Chest containing the gear at or near yngols throne, same room where the helmet is located
Did anyone ever manage to find a fix for the 1st person issue with this armor? I LOVE it to death and I remember using it non-stop back in Oldrim. But when I tried using it for SSE. I get a stretched out pointy chest piece connected to my characters arms in 1st person. I see that I'm not alone and I'm just wondering if anyone has fixed it yet. I tried porting the Oldrim meshes uses Nif Optimizer, but sadly I still get the glitch. Which is odd since I don't remember having it at all in Oldrim. I guess the only other option is to use the Dragur 1st person meshes for now. But I really do hope someone can fix this eventually.
Edit: Tried the Dragur 1st Person meshes. Sadly the glitch is still there. Guess I'll sadly have to pass until this armor is reworked and fixed.
Edit 2: Final edit/post. I loaded up the original mod in Oldrim and there's no glitch. I'm not sure if this will be helpful, but that means that somehow when the meshes are converted their getting all screwed up. Just thought I'd report that.
There's an issue with the pauldrons on the female model. They lack the round center bumps and instead it looks like the original female pauldrons are clipping through on the left side.
There's also an issue with gapping where the meshes for the leggings, the belt, and the hip plates fail to meet. I've posted some images in a bug report.
Hello, for those who have problems with female animations in first person the solution I got for this was to take the meshes of Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Skyrim Special Edition \ Data \ Meshes \ armor \ draugr

and replace them with those found in
Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Skyrim Special Edition \ Data \ Meshes \ yngol
It is not perfect but it is much better.
Note: I've only tried it with female animations, but if it replaces male files I think it should work too
sorry for my elementary English, = P
