I'd considered making that, but NordWarUA has made far better replacers than I ever could, and I use his mods for Imperials and Stormcloaks these days.
Hang on... I actually had made something: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10055
I remember I gave the armor to all high ranking Imperial officers, including Commanders. I assume you're talking about Commander Caius - he's the leader of the Whiterun guards, and he gets replaced if the Stormcloaks take over the city. I took that as enough support for the idea that he's part of the Imperial Legion.
I don't think I got that far with my Stormcloak Champion mod, though I believe I gave the armor to Ulfric. I use NordWarUA's replacers myself these days, and I'm more focused on developing my enemy overhauls than my old armor mods.
I think this needs WACCF Patch. My solitude guards dont have the armor. They only get the shoes and gloves. Only the imperial commanders get the fullset
I'm too much of a noob to learn how to do bash patch. Only thing I can think of is Sons of Skyrim. But that mod doesnt touch Imperials unless you use authentic legion.
i'm sooo sorry but i keep ticking "replacer" so it would give it too all of the soldiers but it wont, i remember that when i used to do that then overwrite with the replacer file that's archived now it would work, is there any way i can download the replacer file that's archived ? the replacer option in the installing tab doesnt do anything for me :c
It's possible that something is set up wrong with the latest version of the installer, it's been a long time since I worked on this mod and I can't really remember. Try installing normally, then extract the main file somewhere on your hard disk, copy the plugin from the Replacer folder, and paste it in your installation folder so it overwrites what was installed before. If that doesn't work I'll set up a file with your preferred options and send it to you by Dropbox.
i'm so bad at this stuff xd i always just click the manager install button and it does it's own thing. i dont know what to say other than sooooo sorry for bugging you over this dumb thing, if you can send me this replacer file that was archived or the one yo will make i would be delighted, otherwise sorry again <3
Don't worry about it, just tell me what options you want (1k or 2k, red or blue, etc) and I'll package the whole thing up for you tonight and send it via private message.
This has to be my favourite looking Imperial overhaul yet! A mix of badass Roman looking armour and weapons while still staying true to the lore. Perfecto!
I do have a question. Does Tullius get a badass outfit fit for a General?
Uh, kinda? He gets the helmet with the crest running from side to side, I think I gave it to him and the legates only (it's been a while since I worked on this mod, I don't remember how I distributed the armors).
i noticed this great mod so late, i have penitus oculatus mod which perfectly good combination with this mod. helmets specially they are perfect; gallic, centurion, praetorian, ofiicer style helmets, it is unbelievable someone did that plays skyrim :))) a quesiton; all sets of cuirass have minor clipping issue with necklaces, is there any chance to fix this issue soon? thank you for this mod again, its great.
The helmet models are great, but I can't take credit for them. They are from jedo_dre's mod (used with permission of course), I only retextured them.
The cuirass is a vanilla Skyrim mesh, I assume it wasn't meant to be used with necklaces if it's clipping. Not a lot I can do about it, except maybe make it hide necklaces when it's equipped. I wasn't planning on working on this mod anymore, but if I ever decide to make any changes I'll see if I can fix the issue.
Thank you for answer I managed fix the clipping with bodyslider by inflated necklace area a bit, its not noticable btw. But i dont know how can i hide it, what should i can use for that : )) As a fan of rome its great mod for me :))
To hide necklaces when the cuirasses are equipped, load the mod into the Creation Kit, go to their ArmorAddon, and click "35 - Amulet" to highlight it. You will still be able to equip necklaces and amulets, but they shouldn't show up when you are wearing one of the mod's cuirasses.
I wasn't really planning to. Adding pants to this mesh is easy as you just have to replace the legs, but adding sleeves requires more complex edits to avoid clipping with the pauldrons and fit the arms to the trunk properly. It probably can be done, but I consider this mod pretty much finished, and I'm focusing my attention on other mods of mine that are not.
This is an excellent mod and it has my endorsement. The pieces are exceptionally well made and the weapons fit the design very well. I have two requests, though. First, Can you tweak the maximum tempered damage of the weapons and the maximum tempered armor ratings to be a little closer to Daedric? Second, Can you make a CBBE/bodyslide version for those of us that use them? Thank you.
Regarding armor rating, the equipment pieces provide the same protection as ebony and glass, which are nearly as good as daedric. Considering that you can reach the armor cap with good skills, the difference becomes negligible as eventually you'll get the same protection from them as from daedric equipment. Making them daedric grade right from the start would be unbalanced in my opinion. If you still feel you should be able to make the items stronger I'd suggest using the Signature Equipment mod, which is, in my opinion, a must-have for everyone.
As for CBBE, I've never made bodyslide conversions, but I plan to learn to do so at some point. Several of my mods need CBBE versions of their armor anyway.
