Hi, just tested this mod and it's really good except for one issue, my snow roads look like this for some reason. It comes from this mod, not CSSET (I wondered that first since I saw there was a snow fix available there, and yes I did try it anyway but it made no difference, it comes from this landscape mod and disabling it makes it go away)... I also tried the landscape fix it did not help either. For now it helps to use really blended roads (normal version makes it worse)
I place the SSEUT mods below the CSSET mod in MO2, that's good yes? 2x version if that matters.
I haven't touched this in years but if Bethesda made changes to textures or if you are using another mod that touches snow the behavior of the surrounding textures could have changed.
I have no other mods that affect snow, or roads. I've also tested Project Clarity and had the exact same issue... Upon a closer look, the brighter texture you see in my screenshot looks a lot like the old snow texture from LE...

I think you can see it better here. I just reinstalled the entire game, only have CSSET, SSEUT Landscape and Realm of Lorkhan alternate start installed here it still looks like this hmm...

This is taken in the exact same spot with 0 mods besides Realm of Lorkhan alternate start (not gonna sit through Helgen to test this lol) Could it be that SSEUT contains an LE snow road texture maybe?
Might be what it is. This report is pretty new, so I'm not sure if the behavior is from an update or from the original corpus. The original corpus is a mix of legendary edition and SSE due to the weird upscaling they used on a lot of objects that didn't need it in SSE. A couple things got hit due to manually comparing SSE/LE over like 7,000 textures. I do remember a certain type of snow getting hit, but I don't think it was the roads. You can check CSSET and download the snow-fix to see if that solves the issue.
road01snow01.dds & road01snow01_n.dds in textures/landscapes/roads have to be replaced with maybe own Upscaled one . In Project Clarity this both textures are also defectiv .
Anyway Th@nks for SSE Upscaled Textures and Cleaned !
i love ai upscaled textures. eg in vegas. i want it also in skyrim. most is good in this mod, unfortunately, this mod makes the vanilla rocks look more like papers. and make trees blur far away .
textures/landscape/grass/tundragrassobj01.dds appears darker than the vanilla/csset textures. Especially noticeable around Whiterun. Does kind of break the grass fade immersion for me. Anyway, keep up the good work!
For now yeah. I am trying to separate these out so I can update the individual sections better, and hopefully get more people to tell me if something is broken. As soon as I get these all up I'm going to take down the SSEUT page with redirect to the new pages.
Once I actually finish these, I'll roll it back into one SSEUT download.
The first actually heavily updated file will probably clutter or clothing. Clutter is probably going to turn into a mess like the original SSEUT page, while I try to improve it.
Got it! For feedback I would like to add a few things: - Your landscape textures are amazing! Miles better than the model used by Project Clarity. However, coastbeach01/02, coastbeachgrass01, mineralpoolterrace, snowstone01, volcanictundradirt01, volcanictundraminerals01 seem to have bad upscale. If you compare those with vanilla textures you can see their materials don't quite resemble. - For mountain textures the 8k resolution from 4x version should be in 2x as well since SSE's default mountain textures are also 8k. - It would be great to have upscaled landscape textures for Dawnguard and Dragonborn <3

Skyrim Textures Upscaled
And when this mod gets updated I plan on updating those changes into my mod as well!
Do mind uploading a 4x version of the grasses only? This is pretty much what's important in your selection
Thank you
