I know this post is old but the mod Eslfied really easy.
Steps to Compact and ESL an esp: 1. Open SeEdit 2. Select the mod you want to compact
3. Once the info has loaded, left click on the mod esp name to select it -- Preparing to esl 4. Right click, select 'compact form id's' 5. Right Click, select 'check for errors' (6 and 7 optional but I do this) 6. (Optional but I do this) Right Click, select "Renumber Form ID's From" 7. Right Click, select 'check for errors'
-- Making it an esl 8. In the 'View' window, right click on the 'Record Flags' topic - you'll get a warning that you are going to change the esp - select 'yes, I'm sure' 9. A dialogue box will open with a whole pile of check boxes - select the box that says 'ESL' 10. click OK
11. Save the esp 12. close SeEdit
I also created a RS Children patch but of course will only work with my eslfied version.
I'm rebuilding me entire load order, so since I was running a test game and at Old Hroldan checking The Great Village version thought I'd test it, results were suprisingly positive: I'd installed TGV Old Hrodan together with Rob's fixes, The Great Village of Old Hroldan Patch Collection & the recommended seperate ELFX patch by Czasior. The two mods merge together pretty well however if TGV loads first (which was what Vortex auto did) it's missing some terrain behind the tavern so a few barrels and the two TGV houses are floating, set a rule for TGV Old Hroldan to load after this mod and floating issue fixed, they seem to play very nicely together. Looked round the whole area didn't find any floating or clipping so should be all good (and the two versions look pretty nice together)
I did encounter an issue with Tiber Septims bed not appearing but I was having that issue before the experiment, so yeah, from a preliminary check of the area the 2 mods work together, just make sure TGV loads last, hope this helps :-) EDIT: Found a post from in the TGV Old Hroldan comments, by the author, said missing bed was related to loading into a running game should work on a new game, will test that to be sure but if yr mid-playthough could be an issue)
Is there any RS Children patch that could be used? I just installed your mod, it's what I was looking for honestly, but the kid has black face. I host RS Children ptches, and I wanted to know if any existed before trying to make one
i use tk children. the kid in the inn has no blackface and looks as ever. by the way nice small mod, no compatibility problems so far as with most of the bigger mods
Thanks, I am glad you like it. The issue with the black face on the child mentioned above is referring to the child added by this mod not the vanilla one at the inn.
My Ancient Hroldan addon needed the RiverWaterFlow forwarded :( While I corrected those, I also fixed the NPC bugs mentioned below and followed more vanilla formula (removing perks, upping the level, fixing combat style, removing spells, adding crimefaction, etc.)
Couple questions. 1. Do radiant quests work with this? 2. Why do the new NPCs all have the VampireFeed Thirst for Blood perk? 3. Any reason why they all have the same spells and classes?
Also, I would consider giving them some proper NPC levels. I made Vilar level 20 since he's supposed to be an experienced warrior and hunter, and Lokrmir and Imslla level 6, like most generic farmer/citizen NPCs are in Skyrim. You know, so they won't die to a couple skeevers since they lack protection flags.
In general I don't know exactly, I created those NPCs from existing ones, so maybe the issues you pointed out were "inherited" from the templates. Good thing is that those issues are easy to fix, so I will when I eventually get around to it. Thank you for your feedback and suggestion!

Only problem I have his Imslla. She looks kind of awkward with her makeup:
