So, I just copy it into my Data folder and it'll work? I mean, it's a replacer for the standard Daedric, or do I have to replace it manually in the CK?
i noticed the male cuirass has 4 shoulder smoke effects attached and the female torso only has 2. Is this intentional? *successfully patched for Rudy HQ; not sure if this is right but I completely overwrote Rudy armorfx and helmetfx with this mod. Not sure if I was supposed to Nifskope on those as well.
What about something like Armor Variants Expansion? (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34100)
Will this mod affect the variant of the helmet and cuirass, causing visual issues? Would love for this to affect the variant in a good way, but knowing that only the original items are affected would mean I can download this right away. Which I want to. Because it looks f*#@ing good.
No, their daedric variant uses a unique mesh, mine replaces the vanilla mesh. It's only not gonna work if you have another replacer of daedric armor installed.
I see, I'll post a guide for you to patch it here and I will post it in the description. All you need is NIFScope. Open 2 NIFScope windows, one with the aura in my files (let's say the helmet_1 for this example) then your helmet_1 in a different window. Select the Plane TriShape (which is the aura in my mod), right click and select Copy Branch. Go to the other window with the helmet_1 from the Rudy HQmod you're patching mod, click the top TriShape and click Ctrl+V. Save. Repeat for every torso and helmet until done.
I will not. But I'll tell you how to do it! All you need is NIFScope. Also, I can't seem to make it compatible with this mod, Symmetric Daedric Armor Replacer
Good work by the way!
Since Daedric Armor has a slightly red glow, a red aura would look pretty bad-ass too.
I'm not requesting it or anything, I'm just curious if that's even possible to do

Could you make it compatible with: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/40951 ?

Will the Rudy auras work with modded (non-vanilla) armors?
I wonder why they cut it?
