I love this mod, just one small correction, it was editing the BSEffectShaderProperty that changed the color of the aura, not BSLightingShaderProperty

Also, I can't seem to make it compatible with this mod, Symmetric Daedric Armor Replacer

Sorry I am late to the reply, yes you're right it's BSEffectShaderProperty I'll change that now, what's the issue when trying to make compatible?

So, I just copy it into my Data folder and it'll work? I mean, it's a replacer for the standard Daedric, or do I have to replace it manually in the CK?

    Good work by the way!

It's more of a resource, do with it what you will

Does it affect the Daedric Mail from Creation Club?

Why would it? That could screw over anyone who doesn't own it. Just follow my guide for patching the auras on anything else.

Well, I certainly did not consider it as a requirement, meaning it would not screw over anyone.

I can't just add the meshes, I would not feel safe doing so. Again, follow the guide

No problem. I just asked a question. It was not a request. Anyway, thanks.

i noticed the male cuirass has 4 shoulder smoke effects attached and the female torso only has 2. Is this intentional? *successfully patched for Rudy HQ; not sure if this is right but I completely overwrote Rudy armorfx and helmetfx with this mod. Not sure if I was supposed to Nifskope on those as well.

If you understand replacers then you'll have no problem. If you use the Rudy HQ Daedric armor only download the Rudy HQ patch

Hey just curious, is it possible to change the color of the aura?

Since Daedric Armor has a slightly red glow, a red aura would look pretty bad-ass too.

I'm not requesting it or anything, I'm just curious if that's even possible to do

What about something like Armor Variants Expansion? (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34100)

Will this mod affect the variant of the helmet and cuirass, causing visual issues? Would love for this to affect the variant in a good way, but knowing that only the original items are affected would mean I can download this right away. Which I want to. Because it looks f*#@ing good.

No, their daedric variant uses a unique mesh, mine replaces the vanilla mesh. It's only not gonna work if you have another replacer of daedric armor installed.

So long as they don't replace the helmet and cuirass meshes.

I see, I'll post a guide for you to patch it here and I will post it in the description. All you need is NIFScope.
Open 2 NIFScope windows, one with the aura in my files (let's say the helmet_1 for this example) then your helmet_1 in a different window. Select the Plane TriShape (which is the aura in my mod), right click and select Copy Branch. Go to the other window with the helmet_1 from the Rudy HQmod you're patching mod, click the top TriShape and click Ctrl+V. Save. Repeat for every torso and helmet until done.

If you generate bodyslide meshes for daedric armour to match your custom body mesh that will make it not work, right?

I will not. But I'll tell you how to do it! All you need is NIFScope.
Open 2 NIFScope windows, one with the aura in my files (let's say the helmet_1 for this example) then load helmet_1 in a different window. Select the Plane TriShape (which is the aura in my mod), right click and select Copy Branch. Go to the other window with the helmet_1 from the Rudy HQ mod, click the top TriShape and click Ctrl+V. Save. Repeat for every torso and helmet until done.

Thnx for the tip. I did it, but i have one question, why the armor aura looks less black than the helmet?

Will the Rudy auras work with modded (non-vanilla) armors?

So the Daedric armor had that effect that that poisonous Ebony Armor has?

I wonder why they cut it?

I suspect it either didn't run well on early builds of Skyrim, their original weights weren't working correctly, or they thought it didn't fit well.
