      I planned on updating this mod but fell off from playing VR and tinkering with mods after breaking my wrist! Apologies to anyone who had been waiting for improvements.

      To anyone who downloaded my version before this posting........ Are you not getting the spells?  Here's why.

      Sorry, I'm new to changing Skyrim stuff. Did modding for Oblivion and have only bee
      working the CK about a week. Scripting is so different that for
      Oblivion. Didn't realize I ended up forgetting the scripts.

      Download the new version, 2
      Script and source is now included, need a clean save to get the script to kick in.

    Would it be somehow possible to make the player enter the “weapon drawn” stance after using the equip spell? 

    This mod is fantastic, but in practice i often find that ill pick up an object, do my vrik gesture only for the weapon to disappear because im not in combat stance. Its a very minor issues but definitely immersion breaking.

    Im confused as to how to set this mod up when playing? I assumed that you had to set the spells to VRIK gestures manually, but comments have been saying that they don't show in menus, so idk how to proceed before installing

      you need to use console or install this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/55983 it will add them automatically, they wont be visible in your magic menu but will be visible in vrik I was confused at first as well.

    When I drop an item it floats in the air in front of me until something collides with it then it drops to the ground , was curious if this is intentional or if it can be fixed on my end with xedit or CK etc?

    I wish there was a way it could just work like in Bonelab, where you hold weapons with the grips and triggers and can drop or throw them by letting go of the triggers or grips
    Its much more intuitive that way

      Yea that would be really cool. And Letting go at VRIK holster to put it there. I wonder if Shizof or FlyingParticle could make this magic. They're so talented that they can probably do it somehow.

    Alas, I'm new to modding, but I have done everything in my power to get this mod to work. It seems integral to the overall experience! I'm having the same issue as a few others that have already posted - I can't get the spells to show up in my menu. I've tried so many different things, and combinations of things, to get this fixed...but nothing. The closest I've come (if I don't have the add spells mod on) is using the console to add the spell, but again, it won't show up in the menu so I'm unable to use it. If there is anything anyone out there might know about how to fix this, please let me know! I really want this to be part of my first Skyrim VR playthrough =)

      Same here, I've tried with the mod "swap drop and hold add spell" and no spells in menu, then I created another save without "swap drop and hold add spell", when I gave the console commands it said that the spells were added, but still I dont have them in the magic menu. No idea why.
      I've even used the mod before and it worked.

    Is it possible to simply assign each object in the world a damage value? Home clutter such as a drinking mug does 2 damage while sharp utensils do significantly more. As for actual weapons, give each weapon their damage output when swung while not equipped. I mean thanks to HIGGs the weapons are already held the correct way when you first pick them up. All we need now is for the unequipped held weapons to do as much as they do while equipped. Might have some issues with perk damage boosts/abilities but I am sure that's a sacrifice most people are willing to make.

    How about an option to duplicate equipped spell to the other hand to allow dual casting?

    Somehow the add spells mod do not work as they are not automaticly added. I don't know if it as to do with me having an alternate start mod installed. Anyhow, even when trying to add the spells via the console I get error message " the spell drop or equip cant be added to (character name)" Any idea why?

      It says "can't be added" if you already have it. I gave myself these spells with fienyx's files, with console, and directly in the records. They are added but never show in menu. Others are using this mod but we can't. There is something restricting us, maybe not having address libraries or something like that.

      Manmoth "I also have a mod list and setup that stops basically every menu"
      This may be a clue to why spells do not show in menu.

    This main mod page download has no scripts. Any combination of this download and feinyx's download will not work for me. I even added the
    spells directly to the PLAYER record with tes5vredit.exe and it does not
    work. Manmoths or console will add the spells but then never show in my
    menu. I see a post here only 2 months old from someone
    using it.

    If you know what I need to make this work please message.
    My game only has SKSE, SkyUI, HIGGS, VRIK, and this.
