• Beta Draft HowTo: Add or Change a Wig on NPC's

  Introduction
   
  This is a beta version of a draft document.  It could very easily contain errors.  If you find any errors, please post a comment.
  
  Temporary Change
  
  If you simply want to add or change a KS wig on an NPC for your current game, the easiest way is to use NPC Outfitter for KS Hairdos HDT SMP.  Temporary changes revert when you start a new game.
  
  
  Persistent Change
  
  A persistent change remains even after you start new games.  This is done by changing the NPC's Actor record.  You will need Bethesda's Creation Kit or similar.  If you first need to learn to use the Creation Kit.  You can get started by reading this guide.
  
  At this point, I will assume you understand how to use the Creation Kit.
