Can’t think of a mod that replaces the lock picking tree with something else.

Anyone able to give me a hand by chance? I wanted to move some lockpick skill points you get for being various races over. I used the following:

    player.SetAv lockpick 0               [worked fine]

player.AdvSkill pickpocket 5       [did nothing, just stated the following:]

    IsCurrentFurnitureObject>>0.00
    IsCurrentFurnitureObject>>0.00

    I use Ordinator.

Just wanted to pass along that Book Covers  and the Lost Library version has a newer edition that isn't compatible with your patch. Here's the link: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/70272

    PSA:

this works with EPO/Enhanced Perk Overhaul! it leaves an "Empty Skill" branch on the menu where lockpicking should be, but the thievery skills level up appropriately and the points work. So it's not "clean looking" but it is functional.

Hey there, any possibility you might be able to update your patches for Book Covers to include Book Covers Skyrim Updated please?

    Thanks!?

This makes WAY more sense than having two trees for something you don't do a LOT of!

My only question is: how will this interact with "class" mods, that give skill bonuses on character creation. For example:
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/41298 , which uses "ModAV("Skill", xx)" to increase the stats.

Thanks for the great idea and mod!

Yeah, I'm curious to know that, too.  Not gonna lie... I'm one of those players that comes up with a storyline and fixes all her stats to match right out of the gate... if I'm a resurrected servant of Sithis, I'm not getting killed by a frost spider, and if I'm a werewolf, then wolves aren't going to attack me period, you know?  I'd be interested to know if, with this mod, I'd be adjusting my lockpicking and pickpocket skills like normal, or if it would be more like player.advskill thievery 99999?

      Thanks!

Can I install this mod in an already going playthrough? And if I already have perk points on both trees?

Oh this is great.   Someone pleas replace the Lockpicking tree with this
    Adamant - Hand to Hand

And for the Ordinator/Vokrii patch, move their unarmed perks to the tree.
