This is brilliant. Akatosh in Oblivion was depicted as a dragon of pure radiant light, so having Alduin be this void that just looks wrong makes so much sense.
Aurbic Alduin does something similar, but leaves his mouth visible by making it a shining maw of pure light, which I think is important since he's the world eater
I haven't tried this yet, but pairing this Alduin Texture with (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/39116) Strong Alduin.. That would be terrifying and maybe a bit overkill~
God, he's like a living shadow. It's creepy on a weirdly subtle level - you'd think it'd be too simple, but when you look at him, you get this really uneasy feeling because you KNOW there should be more detail, but there isn't - he's just a flying, black void with eyes staring at you. It gives the impression that whatever this thing is, he really isn't from this world - something wholly separate from mortal life.
Okay, I know it's a bit wordy, but my point is that this is a surprisingly effective mod.
