Good work, you've done what I've always wanted to do. Now it looks neither too bright nor too wide.

Couldn't this just be made as an esp replacer for Quicklight? or are there permission problems with that. I ended up just opening both in SSEEdit and copied the changes over to the original Quicklight esp.

I downloaded it anyway cause more light is a good thing :D

Correct, a replacer would need permissions from the original author. And the ESL wont take one of the esp spots anyway :)

I'm probably just stupid but if you install an esl that takes a lower load order than other esl's you have installed in an ongoing game, doesn't it cause potential problems?

There are some potential issues for some mods when you do that yes, but not with a mod this simple I think. In this case there are 4 very simple records changed which really shouldn't cause any issues. They are very specific records to the Quick Light mod and should not affect any other area of the game, so unless you have another mod that edits these same records, there shouldn't be any issue.

That being said, to be safe, savegames get backed up before I make ANY change to my game :)
