Not sure, I'm very busy lately and all my mods and updates are delayed. It will take time until I get the chance to do it. I need to finish all the other mods that were in progress first. But I'll try to remember this and we'll see.
I have yet to see one of these in the wild since I installed this, but the loadscreen slaughterfish was invisible (or pitch black) except for the glowing parts.. I see you set the diffuse texture to one that consists only of the glow streak, with the rest alpha'd out, for all the meshes. The rest of the fish would be untextured like this, no? Was this intentional?
I've noticed the loadscreen glitch, it's unintentional. (I usually have several versions of meshes in development at the same time, until I decide which one to publish. I must have uploaded a wrong one for the loadscreen.) But all the other slaughterfish are ok, show up as intended in game, all textures visible. (As you can see from the images)
Cool, I believe you, like I said, I haven't met one in the wild yet. I guess the difference is somewhere in BSshader properties? because the live fish has the same textures as the loadscreen model, but I didn't check the shaders.
I'm not even sure what's the reason for the missing texture on the loadscreen, published over a year ago. Can't remember the specifics, but there were some difficulties with the slaughterfish in general. Probably will fix this in the future update.
If you want to find some slaughterfish easily, go to the eastern part of the lake Ilinalta. There are some underwater ruins where you will find at least two slaughterfish.
I came to comments to check, because i recently installed CC fishing and slaughterfishes in game went black. So i guess slaughterfish edits is the reason
It's weird, becaus I did a research and CC fishing does not touch the same assets. However, it has a plugin that might do something to the slaughterfish.
Try just the CC fishing, disable Slaughterfish Glowmapped to check if it makes any change at all.
Agreed - but niche mods are often the best. In this case, not only does it look cool but it actually improves gameplay because those suckers are hard to spot. Not anymore!
I never thought seeing glowing murder trout stare up at me from a river could be so breathtaking. Also are you going to add glowmaps to the new Dwemer CC stuff? It's look cool as hell tbh
I would like to see a few different colors, including blue, red, green, orange, striped with 2 colors of glowing stripes and "animated". Not sure if that is possible but thanks for making these suckers stand out, they almost killed me and my baby mudcrab companion recently.

But first I need to complete my update for my other mod "Dwemer Automatons Glowmapped" - this update is a difficult one and might take some time to get it working, so I can't give an exact time when I will get to the update of the Slaugherfish mod. But the update will definitely come.

Yeah, I knew it will be a niche mod when I created this. Most popular are follower, armor, weapons and animations mods.
