Is there a chance for a patch that simply removes armors from variations? It's easy to edit armors with other mods for Cathedral, but with Variations, I'm getting helmet from variations and body armor from other mod. This patch fixes that, but at the cost of original look of Cathedral Armors which is superior at this point.
Really like the idea, but I think some textures may be missing. For example, the female light hide armor has purple arms underneath. Looking in nifskope, it appears to be looking for textures\sforz\ recolors\farmclothes04alt\farmclothes04altf.dds.
there are no textures included with your mod, and there is no “recolors” folder with the original mod.
edit: damn, I thought this was for sforzinda imitations LMAO might’ve been my bad
Grabbed the correct assets which fixed the issue. Any idea how to make this work with Frankly HD Dawnguard textures? Is it enough to just hide Frank’s meshes?
I use Frankly over Cathedral/Sforzinda for both Imperial and Dawnguard stuff, as I like them better. Otherwise, you'd just have to load the mod after Frankly's
I’m also curious as to what precisely this patch is patching. In particular, did you add CA cubemaps to SV meshes? Did you pick and choose between CA and SV resources more or less arbitrarily, or was there a system you followed? What’s the new plugin doing precisely?
It's all relevant SV meshes -- both vanilla replacers and new stuff -- updated to use CA cubemaps. Also some clothing meshes that had specular values that were through the roof.
The plugin is the one from SV, where I have forwarded WACCF stats/keywords and added them to the few new stuff added in SV (such as a captain variant of the Solstheim guard's bonemold armour for instance)
i love these two mods as well! i havent tried them together in the same game so i am excited to in this playthrough i am building, but i am also wondering what exactly is this patching? levelled lists? textures or meshes? im a bit ignorant, but i trust modders more than myself, so downloaded and endorsed :p
