This is a very brief guide on how to port Arissa for Skyrim Special Edition. This method requires Cathedral Asset Optimizer.
First, download Arissa from the oldrim page. Use the latest version. If you are not using Mod Organizer, download the file manually. Mod Organizer users, install the file. Users of other managers, extract the file somewhere outside of your data folder, like your Downloads folder.
In the extracted folder you should see the "readmes" folder, "CompanionArissa.bsa", and "CompanionArissa.esm":
Run Cathedral Asset Optimizer. Make sure that the profile at the top is "SSE". In CAO, choose the folder you extracted the Arissa download to (for MO users this is in the path where mods are installed), then in the bottom pane go thro...
