"Oi!  What are you on about?!

Have you noticed Recorder adventuring with you but not her skirt?  Are you unable make her wear it, despite her inventory showing that she already has it on.  Did you finally get her to wear it after messing with other mods' MCM settings, only to find that the skirt was missing, again, once you loaded up your saved game?

I sense your frustration.  I hear your anguished cries of, "Put your damn clothes on, girl!".  And, as an appreciator of Occam's Razor, I present to you Recorder's Shirt 'n Skirt combo armor.

This simple armor combines both Recorder's Pirate Shirt and Misfit Skirt into a single piece of clothing, which, like a cuirass, covers both the torso and waist areas, meaning that, when worn, it will replace any other armor/clothing already covering these body parts.


"Where is this masterpiece of simplicity?"
If you're starting a new game or just haven't entered Riverwood's Sleeping Giant Inn (IE. Recorder hasn't been initially loaded in-game yet), Recorder will already be wearing the Shirt 'n Skirt when you first meet her in the Inn.

What's that?  You've already started a game, been adventuring with Recorder, and she already has the separate shirt and skirt that she was wearing when you first met her?  No worries!  It seems that Recorder is as prepared as she is forgetful and has left her travel bag, containing an extra outfit and potions, right outside the front door to the Sleeping Giant Inn.


"Is it ...um... jiggle-ready?"
Yes, Recorder's Shirt 'n Skirt includes physics to accommodate all of your bouncing and crouching needs.


"And compatibility...?"
Recorder's Shirt 'n Skirt Combo Armor works with BodySlide and should be compatible with Recorder replacers/overhauls that do not alter her clothing, unless this mod is being installed after Recorder has already been encountered in-game, in which case your Recorder should retain her replaced/overhauled appearance and clothing.  Recorder's Forgotten Travel Bag should still be in place at the door of the Sleeping Giant Inn.

As this new armor is made from the original shirt and skirt armors, wearing the Shirt 'n Skirt without Recorder's Misfit Leggings and/or Huntress Leather Longboots (or any other leg/footwear of the same length or longer) will make her legs disappear.  This issue occurs when the original Pirate Shirt is worn because the body mesh included with the shirt has legs that only extend down to where the leggings and boots begin, and so it also occurs with the Shirt 'n Skirt.  Don't want her legs to disappear while wearing the Shirt 'n Skirt?  Give her mid-thigh-high boots or leggings to wear.


"Hey, you know..."
Yep, I know that the problem with Recorder not wearing the skirt or it just not showing on her is very likely due to a conflicts with other mods.  Most players will probably never have to worry about this problem, but for those that do, this mod is for you.


"Are you taking credit for this?"
Absolutely not.  All credit goes to Potasticpanda for creating a wonderful mod and breathing life into such an endearing follower, and to the other artists and authors who helped bring Recorder to life.  All I did was combine the existing meshes to create a new armor.
