New to Synthesis. I have it on my game and found an existing patch in the Synthesis dropdown and it worked. I found an offsite Github patcher for Synthesis I would like to use along with this mod. Not sure how to add them to my game so that Synthesis will find and create the patch. Do I download and add the zip to the Data folder? Have really tried to research this without luck. Legal Steam Copy and somewhat experienced with modding but computer expert - not.
Would you ever consider switching adding options to disable certain parts from forwarding? For example, if someone didn't want to have the lanterns forwarding due to another mod.
Rain destroys objects. Since this happens on the street and the distance of drawing objects is maximum, there are frequent departures from the game when the main character is in the city. I don't think this can be attributed to bugs. Just a fun fact.
What I use related to rain: Wonders Of Weather - Less opaque rain splashes for ENB Real Rain SE R.A.S.S. Rain Ash And Snow Shaders - Wet Frost Cold Dust
In case the rest is too long to read: I need to know how to tell it where my mod directory actually is.
Hello and thank you for your work. I have an odd question... For reasons too long to explain, yet to satisfy mod requirements for my setup, my install is not your typical install. Yes, it is a 100% legal Steam copy of the game, but I have changed the installation path of the game and the mod path that it looks for. I have been successful in making any other tool (Loot, xEdit, Dyndolod, Nemesis, etc.) for modding out there find the correct path for my mods, but I haven't the slightest idea how to tell this one to. I've tried running standalone, powershell, via MO2 and Via Synthesis, with Antivirus down and Admin. Even though Synthesis finds my mods just right for other patchers, for some reason it doesn't think I have Destructible Skyrim installed.... I do.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY! Yeah, I noticed that and did that, that's actually what I had already done before posting the original of this post. I looked at the Synthesis output and it definitely grabs from the correct place, so I guess my issue isn't what I thought it was... For some reason it says that DS isn't installed. I can run it again later and share the output if need be, but any ideas on that in the meantime? Lol. DS definitely works in game, so it's installed properly..
Hey, thank you for your reply, I haven't been playing lately due to some interruptions in life, I will check as soon as I can get back to playing. Thank you again!
It's not working well for me unfortunately, do you have any recomendation? From what I tested a lot of barrels containing stuff don't break and in breezehome you have the spawned pieces scattered but objects stays the same, maybe that's a feature idk.
Check the records of the patcher in xEdit after running it, and see which other mods are editing those records. Try turning those off one by one to find a culprit.

EDIT:
Yup, checked, it's called 'Data Folder Location', you'll have to point that to the data folder of your game path.
