Okay, this project is I think done! Enjoyed doing each region, and nice to now be able to install each region individually, or the whole kit and kaboodle. Having an issue with the Marsh Grass.esp and Rift Grass.esp. When either one is activated, I'm met with an infinite loading screen at the main menu. Disabling both allows the game to load just fine. I have the required mods and I'm following the load order in the description. I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.

A little hint for anyone who experiences the same problem with nograssias removing some of the darker colored grass patches around the whiterun area, which leads to a less dense tundra. Instead of using no grassias to remove the leftover green grass in the reach area, you can just remove the following nif-files (or whatever more experienced people do to "disable" meshes) in meshes>landscape>grass:
It seems like these meshes are exclusively used by cathedral landscapes, so it should be safe to delete them if you want to use the reach grass provided by NCRG.
I was accidentally using a different grass with a similar name-- UGH took me ages to figure out what was missing. This is the prettiest and most fantastical grass mod by far.
Hello! Does cathedral landscapes ability to blend grass into the terrain lod still work with this mod? And what weather mod would you recommend? I know that CL requires cathedral landscapes but I would prefer to use a different weather mod.
I'm assuming you are referring to grass lod from NGIO/Dyndolod? The Description has the settings I used for good grass lod blending, you can give those a try. I've used Cathedral, Azurite and Obsidian weathers with good results.
Doubtful a grass patch would cause a loading issue. Check over your load order or PC settings -- something else is amiss in your setup. If you are using SSE Engine Fixes, you may need to tweak a setting in EngineFixes.toml.
Yeah I know its probably some weird interaction in my installation but it doesn't happen without those 2 mods enabled. any idea what setting I could tweak in Engine Fixes?
Just as general info, simply disabling a mod and it working doesn't necessarily mean that mod is the culprit. It's the totality of your load order and the interaction of the mods that cause issues, even if removing one somehow makes everything work again. The mod or setting causing the issue most likely is still in your setup, and adding a certain mod that relies on that setting or required mod could trigger the issue again. If you've uninstalled a mod mid-game, you could have a corrupt save. You probably need to do a google search on "infinite loading screen skyrim" -- this problem has come up for hundreds of others.
In EngineFixes.toml, the memory manager and the save game size settings I think have helped others with the issue in their games. Can't help anymore with your issue, but good luck.
Same issue for me. Endless loading screen before main menu, i.e. upon game launch, before a savegame is even loaded yet. So now there's two of us. It only happens when running this mod together with the Northern Grass SE. I can run Northern Grass SE on its own without problem. I haven't tried replacing this all-in-one with the standalone grasses, yet.

I am using the load order in the description and all working well here. Load Northern Grass first. I see you have quite a few more grass mods I've never tested with, so start with just the ones in the description in the order listed, then try your others.
I tweaked my load order, I had missed the one in your description. The error now goes away when I disable High Poly Green Grass Update for Cathedral - 3D Pine Grass. I'll just go ahead and live without that one for now.

Glad it worked out well! It might be worth opening up the other mod in xEdit to see what it's changing there - may be some conflict that could be resolved with a patch.
Does this mean that your mod is not compatible with the 3D Pine Grass - High Poly Green Grass Update (v1.1 of 3D Pine Grass, in Update Files)? Meaning we should use v0.462 of 3D Pine Grass instead? Thanks!
This mod was created using the .457 version of 3D Pine Grass, but the other versions may work layered on top if you just take the textures/meshes from those versions and overwrite. It's worth testing to see how they work together, but I haven't tested myself.
Thanks, do you by chance also know if this mod conflicts in any way with Skyrim 3D Trees and Plants? When used together, will i simply see the plants of the conflict-winner or does this need a specific compatibility patch?
I ran into this issue while making a LO 2 years later. I dont think I ever fixed it last time.
Being a little more experienced I had a look at xEdit and noticed your references were giving errors. So I guess I just had an older version of 3d Pine Grass. Got .457 and it seems to be fixed. Just leaving this if it helps anyone

I’ve never seen this happen. Can you send the location where this is occurring? At first glance it looks like a load order problem or another mod is interfering.

I use ENB complex grass options and installed Cathedral Landscapes Grass only.
Ok, a few things: You need to switch to NoGrassias Extended or Ultimate (required in the description). This mod doesn't change the grass in that region, so that is straight up Cathedal Landscapes grass. This mod only tweaks Pine grass, Reach grass, Snow grass and Rift grass. I do get a little bit of tiling in that region, but nowhere near what you are getting. Review your load order (not sure if the pre-cache grass is affecting anything), but fixing NoGrassias should help. Good luck.

Then I tried deactivating No Grass in Objects, and the tiling was much less noticeable; more or less like in your screenshots. It seems that Cathedal Landscapes grass is quite prone to tiling. And No Grass in Objects exacerbates this...
Hey, thanks for this great mod! Although this is a matter of personal taste, I'm not a fan of the tundra grass around whiterun. Since I'm not too knowledgeable about this, could you tell me how I can make it so that northern grass is used instead of cathedral landscapes for Whiterun? Thanks alot :)
Okay so I tried creating a patch via xEdit, I'm just gonna mention the steps that I carried out if you mind telling me whether I made any mistakes in the same. 1) I chose "Copy as override into" for the following landscape textures in Cathedral Landscape- LFieldGrass01, LTundra01, LFieldGrass01NoGrass & LTundra02(Not sure what NoGrass means I just selected everything that had tundra grass in it), and then clicked on <new file>.esp (with ESL flag). 2) I then dragged all entries from Northern Grass over to this patch for selected landscape textures, and deleted all Cathedral Landscape textures. 3) Hit Save, Exit, and placed it just below Cathedral Landscapes in the load order. Did I make any errors? I'm not familiar with xEdit so I hope you could let me know. Thanks :)

You need to switch to NoGrassias Extended or Ultimate (required in the description).
This mod doesn't change the grass in that region, so that is straight up Cathedal Landscapes grass. This mod only tweaks Pine grass, Reach grass, Snow grass and Rift grass.
I do get a little bit of tiling in that region, but nowhere near what you are getting. Review your load order (not sure if the pre-cache grass is affecting anything), but fixing NoGrassias should help. Good luck.

Then I tried deactivating No Grass in Objects, and the tiling was much less noticeable; more or less like in your screenshots. It seems that Cathedal Landscapes grass is quite prone to tiling. And No Grass in Objects exacerbates this...
1) I chose "Copy as override into" for the following landscape textures in Cathedral Landscape- LFieldGrass01, LTundra01, LFieldGrass01NoGrass & LTundra02(Not sure what NoGrass means I just selected everything that had tundra grass in it), and then clicked on <new file>.esp (with ESL flag).
2) I then dragged all entries from Northern Grass over to this patch for selected landscape textures, and deleted all Cathedral Landscape textures.
3) Hit Save, Exit, and placed it just below Cathedral Landscapes in the load order.
