Very Nice! It will be a while before I run into this in game, but it should be perfect for when I do. Have another small donation. Hope it helps you out a little.
Wish this didn't require the USSEP... Maybe I LIKE glitching and cheesing the game when I want to.. BTW, did donate $5.00 because I dl'd a bunch of your other mods, so not like I'm some rando that ain't supporting you griping about a free mod.. Might be more $ in it for you if you consider making that slight change
Would love for you to do this for the Mace of Molag Bal from Believable Weapons as the vanilla mace is one of the worst offenders when it comes to shape.
Hi, I might have some ideas about why so little people download your mod: I haven't downloaded it, but I guess the enchantement still needs to be refilled with soul gems? For some people, daedric artefacts shouldn't have to be refilled, it's power comes from a Daedric Prince, why would it's battery run out? So, for those people, the most lore-friendly between infinite charges and absorbing instead of damaging stamina and magicka, they would lean toward the infinite charges. And the fact that your mod might conflict with the one they would use for the charges (don't ask me why, I don't know s#*! about mods, I just download stuff and pray for it to work) would deter them from downloading it.
Also, there's another mod that seems to do the same thing as yours and adds health absorption on top of that.
And finally, so I don't end on a bad note, I looked at your profile: you haven't done a lot of mods, so you might not be accustomed to some aspects of modding: the mod I'm speaking of still has more than 10 times more views(26 730) than downloads(2 063), almost 15, and if I understand correctly how this works, looking at "Unique downloads", only 1264 people have actually downloaded it, some just did it multiple time. To add to it, I've checked Project AHO (my reference for a mod that would be almost as downloaded as viewed cuz i'ts good, if you have better examples, go check them): to this day, stats are 947 038 views, 343 305 total DLs and 170 463 unique DLs. If I had to give a verdict, I'd say your mod is in the average for small mods: don't let it's stats get to your head, and don't stop modding. Look at your first mod: looking at it's views and unique downloads, there's a higher percentage of people who clicked on it and decided to download than Project AHO!
Hoping that everything is clear and comprehensible, and wishing you luck in the futur.
Wow thanks for you indepth comment, makes a lot of sense to me now. I will make a second version that considers the refilling! I really appreciate your insights and will learn from it! Have a great day!
Took a quick look at it - one little note: By changing the shader to a Glow Shader you lose the environment mapping - you kept the flag and the cubemap in there, but they simply won't do anything. Likewise the glow map won't work with an environment shader. Since nifs can have only one shader per mesh, you'd need an extra mesh for your glow, if you really want to ADD it, instead of replace (similar to the blood meshes). It probably doesn't matter much in this case - it's either a super dull cubemap (if vanilla), that is overpowered by the enchantment's glow anyway or a tiny glow effect in the eyes - but just for future reference.
Thank you for the insight, didn't know that! I didn't even notice the missing cubemap on the mace, but I will add an extra mesh in a second version or in other upcoming mods now!
Love the changes to the enchants. My only request is that it not glow green. Purple, or Red..but not green or blue. That's it. IMHO those two colors make more sense on what is essentially a vampiric weapon. I can make the change myself so I have downloaded and look forward to using it.
The enchantment glow shader is determined by the game engine iirc. It's a stamina-based enchant, so it gets a stamina enchant shader. Personally, I'd just toggle it so there's no enchantment shader at all.

My fave weapon with a black soul gem.
Gonna try try it.
