Note : You can use sprint to bump NPCs out of your way if they are roadblocking.

What is the purpose of this mod? Read this. (Thanks, theicedevil)

I can't stress enough how important this mod is for VR gameplay. Thank you thousandfold for it!

Some time ago I've unknowingly uninstalled it by mistake and wondered why all the NPCs step away from me. Turns out it wasn't lack of bath, but rather lack of this mod.

Is it possible to make it so that they still move when close, but don't break dialogue?

before your mod...npc's were getting out of the way, just slowly...now with your mod they just are not moving at all. How can one sprint when the follower or npc is standing right next to you....you mod needs some more work?

Agreed. I was trapped in doorways a few times. Movedammit is all thats needed. This mod needlessly increases move delay to 10000 for whatever reason

Wanna throw in a warning to people that this mod makes the game crash when attempting to use a trainer. Aside from that it works perfectly fine so use at your own "risk" so to speak. If you never use trainers then no worries but if you do then either skip or save and quit and disable the mod and then re-enable when you've trained. I've reported the bug but considering this mod has been untouched for 6 years it's probably not getting fixed.

Downloaded this for the first time yesterday - it's still a great mod. I hate it when NPCs start some interesting dialogue and then get cut off because some other NPC pushes them into you. I also want to stand close enough to see their faces. Problem solved!

This has become a necessary mod, for me. Every time I talked to any NPC they would do this stupid animation. Now, people act more normal and fluid and don't make things awkward! Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for this mod! I have always thought of this in-game feature as some sort of mod residue and it ignored the hell out of me. It interrupts follower dialogues constantly, and sometimes it can happen without you being too close to your follower, but the other way around, and then they back up and acts that you're invading their personal space. Also, oftentimes when you load into a new cell, you would be loaded too close to your follower and they'll drop a "huh" or "sorry". With talkative followers such as Serana, this is extra immersion-breaking with a lot of their unique dialogues interrupted by this feature, especially those that trigger upon entering new cells. It is also quite awkward when trying to RP intimacy with your spouse/lover and getting a closer look, only have them back away and keep their personal space like there's nothing going on between you two.

      Weird science. We're doing science.

Wonder if there's a way to prevent the insta-back-teleport when I get too close.. forscience.

Try adjusting this in the .ini:

      [VRTeleport]
      fPlayerComfortRadiusMeters=0.1000

I adjusted mine to .0500 and allowed me to lean in and look at things without clipping into them.

In what Ini?  Skyrim.ini   or the "high.ini"?

I checked my ini file and I'd already set fPlayerComfortRadiusMeters to 0.000. Doesn't stop the dialogue interrupt nor the teleport away they do.

I am SO glad you made this mod...... you are a hero, dude. Obnoxious when NPCs step back.
it's so immersive with all these detailed mods to just watch them talk to you.. i love it.

    you are a hero
