Finally. Thank you so much. I had my battleaxe animation broken for a long time and this just fixed it. Works with Glaive Danger by Pieter82 too. Great work.
Its awesome animations but theyre too slow to actually make it worth attacking with them, especially with mods that overhaul combat like Inpa's Sekiro combat so you may want to up the speed of the attacks?
Great animations man! i am playing with Inpa sekiro, Skysa, and this animation feels very slow for the pace of inpa sekiro, any way to get the battleaxe and warhammers atacks up?
Could try editing attack speed or get some attack speed mods. There's even a follower mod that gives you a 20% passive increase, even if they're just in a 'waiting somewhere' state.
be warned though. 25% doesnt change speed much (well depending on mods load, I use vigor on top of skysa and others so this could just be me) but adding another 20% on top of that makes it go to from slow to faster than a dagger for whatever reason. additionally, just having scaling attack speed through perk edit mods with 20/25% even the scaling makes it get dummy fast. Scaling speed on it's own didnt change it much on it's own even at 100 two handed. I have yet to 100% configure things to where baxes/warhammers are just as fast as greatswords base speed, (if not a bit faster, as you can tell I'm a sucker for warhammer/baxes here).
I'm with you, it's so much slower than anything else, to the point of being almost unusable (if you've made your game properly difficult). Plus, hammers and axes don't do more damage compared to the waaaay faster greatswords. Wish they did, that would make them a unique high risk, high reward playstyle.

Amazing work otherwise!

Attack speed is very very fickle.
