Paper HUD's recent versions have offered several different options for layout and the style of the paper widget background, from a small notepad to large bars creating a cinematic border to the screen. Within my own playthrough, over time I came to settle on exactly which layout I preferred, and I also came to realise I wanted to remove the dependency on A Matter Of Time to provide the background to the attribute meters (either so that I could use the other widgets of AMOT more freely or just play without it). After getting more familiar and confident with UI editing after making my other mod Dwemer Readius UI?, I knew I could do this and also take advantage of higher resolution images for the HUD.
Because this is only being based on what I'm actually use in my game, and because I am using SkyHUD, only a SkyHUD version is available.
I love the look of this menu replacer; its really great. My only complaint is the favorites menu, while skinned nicely with the rest, is still the vanilla one which I never use. I prefer categorized favorites menu but it doesn't look like anyone has made a paperhud version of it. Not a big deal I suppose just find it odd as popular as that mod is.
I feel like I'm missing a super obvious step, and sorry for the question: For the version requiring A Matter of Time, does anyone know why only the in-game clock (no background graphic or health bars) would be showing up? I've double-checked that I have all of the requirements installed and I've loaded the user preset with no luck.
If it makes a difference, I'm on Enderal v 2.1.0+ (non-Steam, mod version) and using the Enderal graphic replacer optional file, but the issue persists with or without the optional file.
Any hints on what I'm doing wrong would be really helpful, and thank you!
hello, sorry for probably stupid question, but I can't find a user preset to load in the matter of time mcm. It only shows "default" or "show all" preset to load amd both of them make AMOT's widget weirdly offset behind your hud replacer. do you have any idea what could cause this? thank you.
nevermind, I did a little digging and figured out I forgot to install FISS. the hud looks perfect now, together with dear diary UI and oblivion icons they all compliment each other perfectly. thanks :)
Textures from mod are working, but Health, Stamina, Magika HUD are appearing vanilla... Have tried Paper HUD & Paper HUD - Directors Cut. Getting the same problem with both.
Install SkyHUD with the Oblivion pre-set, then install this mod overwriting SkyHUD, After that copy 'skyhud.txt' from SkyHUD (SkyHUD v090B v4-463-0-90B\interface\skyhud) into this mods skyhud folder (Paper HUD Director's Cut-47748-1-0-1617791169\Interface\skyhud) and overwrite when prompted. This just changes the placement of the UI elements so the visual changes from this mod are still intact. Any further edits you want to make must be done through this mods 'skyhud.txt' as it will overwrite the one from SkyHUD in your mod manager.
Just done this myself for my playthrough of Enderal to give it a more unique HUD from Skyrim and it works great.
