Edit: Scratched the idea for a fomod version (for now. Will look into it as the mod grows) and started working on multiple misc files as I found that less time consuming given my prior experiences.
For future updates, I will upload Screenshots for specific features by demand only as I feel like I cover most of what the mod does adds in my update notes.
Keep in mind that NPC changes that alters their inventory and equipment won't take effect on already loaded NPCs unless you reset their inventory in any way you can think of or start a new game. This is because the change is to their outfits and inventory. This means that even if you uninstall my mod after installing it, already loaded NPCs with my mod active will keep the changes to their equipment until you reset their inventory blablabla.
Just thought I would clarify this before people ask
The development of this mod will continue as soon as I spiff up my computer. Have been unable to run Skyrim smoothly the past months due to it starting to get dated!
Hey man thanks for this awesome mod I love it! Could you possible make a mod that makes it so that I don't pick up junk and clutter like plates, mugs, basket and useless stuff while looting? Been looking for a mod like this all over but can't find it! :p
Perhaps these mods be configured (in the menu? or as a power?) to turn on/off each individually? I think this change would make this mod be usable to more people. It is convenient to have a combined mod list as this one, but not all people want to activate all mods that are included here. As others mentioned before, just for one example, modifying Serena here would conflict (or make no difference) with other mods that I am using. I use a "Jesus" follower mod that has power to raise the dead, so any looting would still need to be done after they turned into ash piles. Thanks.
Only the versions marked as "Full" include the changes to candlelight. I suppose I could fix a full version with no Candlelight as well, though. In the end, I decided against it. At least until I can come up with more things for this mod to do.
great mod, I like it very much after reading the introduction, but the only thing that makes me hesitate is the compatibility between this mod and jk skyrim. If it can be used together, it would be great
I think it should work as long as you let JK's Skyrim overwrite my mod. Give it a go if you like. If nothing else, you can wait until I release a fomod version and simply decide to leave out the ragged flagon shortcut. Or, I can look into making a patch or something, but I am really not sure where to start in that department seeing as I have not made any patches for other people's stuff before.
So. First. I'm going to download this just to endorse it, 'cause About f$%^ing time someone with the skills and time did this!THANK YOU! I'm not sure if this is being obnoxious or too picky, but in addition to the changes in weaponry for the Skaal, is it possible to adjust level and class? I feel like a survival-level society shouldn't be running around at level 1 for hunter/gatherers (and in the case of Morwen, "A soldier, and then a mercenary for a time," with skills at level 5!) Every time I've tried, I give the entire island black face. :( If you can do this as an ESPFE, I would be enormously grateful. If it's too much of a PITA, I understand, and will still download and endorse.
Makes sense. I can definitely give it a shot. The issue is that they might take information from a vanilla class, and changing that class would mean that every other NPC with the class would get updated as well. I could create a custom class, however. But that would go against the philosophy of this mod. But I am feeling generous and just for you, I will attempt it and make it an optional download.
Edit: Nevermind, it seems like they were, like you said, for some reason just very very low level. I will fix this accordingly in the next update.
Thank you! I do appreciate it. I was getting tired of that one frost troll behind Storn's hut leaving the entire village in bleed-out until I show up and kill it...
This plugin contains records that have FormIDs outside the valid range for an ESL plugin. Using this plugin will cause irreversible damage to your game saves.
Loot is giving me this warning. I don't know what this means. Is this serious?
Right, found the issue. For some reason, my game did not recognize it. Will hide file page until I release an update later tonight. Thanks for pointing this out!
Changing to multiple misc files - exactly what I was going to ask about when I came to the Posts page, after reading the description. There are only 2 of your changes that I want; primarily because I already have mods that do the same things as the others. If your changes were available separately that would be great. The two are: "3. Gave the Skaal villagers and Frea some new weapons to match their lore. They now wear a mix of Nordic and Stalhrim weaponry." "4. I gave Skjor some gloves."
Re: the others. I believe that it is likely that many other players identify with this list in some way: I already use a mod that allows for the adjustment of the weight of items of any kind. I already use a mod for extended night-vision. There are also many that lengthen various light spells as well. I already use a mod (er, several mods) that modifies Serana as much as I am willing to. I already use a mod that changes potions to more useful variations, including "Well-Being" potions. I already use a mod that provides a "single-load-screen" access to the Ragged Flagon
I feel fairly certain that there are many players like me - with different needs, uses and desires for each one. While a FOMOD with a choice of which options to install would probably be best, simply keeping all options individually available as separate files is surely the next best thing. Looking forward - I'll be back to check
I have added some more misc files with even more to come after I realized my limitations when it came to FOMOD. There is now an option to only include the NPC edits with an option to NOT include any edits made to Serana.
Would also like to add that the reasoning as to why I made this mod is because I lacked fully updated versions of some mods and other mods did not extend to a specific thing that I was looking for. I also did not feel like downloading and merging mods for every single little thing that "bothered" me, and some of the stuff in my mod were simply not around. So I decided some weeks ago to make this. Then I was convinced to share it. And now here we are.
I agree, very nice [and thanks] - but I think you should mirror Mnikjom's method of claiming an "overhaul" and provide small individual tweaks within it. And I mean "claiming" to be making a bold and recognizable product of it, not implied virtue... [Love my T'skyrim ]
Hmm? Do explain and provide a link, please. Last thing I want is to step on toes. I just remember the two specific mods I mentioned and decided to make a mention of 'em as an inspiration, but all the files that I have provided have been edited 100% by me.
"Lost of T'Skyrim" I think it is part of his larger mod list, but several others refer to it for patches. Sorry, I'm a complete techno idiot and I just meant a compilation of individual edits that one could apply "in a theme" would probably work for you(us).
Ah, I see. Well, the thing about my mod is (If you do not include the Ragged Flagon shortcut to which there is now an optional file to not include it), that it only CHANGES vanilla Skyrim stuff for maximum compatability. By that, I mean that I do not remove anything or rename stuff that might cause conflict. I simply add or change it. Like, my Skaal edits. All I did was go into the ckit, find all NPCs and change their weapons. Could anyone with sufficient know-how do this? Absolutely. Many probably has, too. The difference is that I took the step to share my edits.

Wouldl ove a standalone version of this.
Edit:
No fomod but two new versions that only touch NPCs.
