get nifskope open the nif files located at data/meshes/weapons/RTRNodachi find the nodes with name Scb right click on those and press "delete branch" ,hit Save and boom you are done
I'd like to make a correction with your description. Immersive Weapons does have a nodachi included so there technically is already an existing odachi mod. But yes, I do believe yours is the first standalone mod for SE.
This looks pretty good, and it's hard to find this weapon type for SE. Is there any chance that you'll make a version with a black scabbard and ito/hilt wrap? I tried to make this myself using paint.net, and tried in addition to make the flower detail less bright, but I failed, and the sword looks just the same in-game.
Thanks for the rapid turnaround for a special request. I'll probably use this sword quite a bit, and it's especially helpful that there are separate greatsword and battleaxe versions, for me and whoever else uses different attack animations for each.
Edit: also, I don't know if you intended this, but it's a very neat touch that the character on the top of the scabbard "lights up" when the blade is sheathed, and becomes dim when the blade is drawn.

Anyways, turtlegodking made a port which will be uploaded later today.
Any chance you'll make this as an ebony blade replacer with slight tweaks to the textures to make it more ebony-y?
