Hopefully this balances dragons with wildcat, they die in 3 hits from a longbow on legendary without it lol

This mod definitely makes dragons last a bit longer and do more damage so if that is what you want give it a try. However, be aware that when this mod is active it negates the Dragonrend shout. Using Dragonrend will not create the "halo" magical effect on the dragon and will not cause it to stagger or land. Basically, the dragons will ignore the shout. Toggling the mod OFF restores the ability to use Dragonrend.

I'm assuming this does not pertain to Alduin, since he was affected by the shout (in the preliminary fight with him on top of Throat of the World mountain). However, every other dragon appears to be immune to Dragonrend with this mod activated. At some point in the game you will be wanting to shout dragons down to you so you can ride them; if this mod prevents that ability then it's of dubious use, in my opinion. Any feedback on that? :-)

That is probably the "Spell absorb" effect activating, meaning the dragons have an 80% chance to just absorb the dragonrend shout instead of it affecting them.

Can you make one that only makes them resilient to like maybe 60% magic?

This mod is great! I was looking for a lore-friendly dragon mod to pair with Wildcat after watching Milmurnir lose half of his health to arrows and then me killing it with single power attack with my battleaxe. I didn't like how most Dragon mods would add a bunch of lore-breaking stuff like swamp dragons and daedra-summoning dragons who didn't even use shouts... So this was just what I needed, at least until someone makes a mod that lets dragons use more actual shouts instead of just Fire/Ice breath.

Just so ya know, 5TEAM, these mods both modify the exact same dragon perk, Dragonskin. To actually get them both to work, you have to go into SSEEdit, load both mods, then copy whatever values you prefer. Otherwise you have the lowest mod in your load order overwriting the one higher up; you only get the effect of the lowest mod.

For me, I loaded Sturdy Dragons Increased Damage into SSEEdit, and then dragged the two Mod Spell and Mod Attack modifier lines over to Resilient Dragons. Then I uninstalled Sturdy Dragons, as Resilient Dragons now does everything it did and more.

Ollie, you did a good job here. One of the problems I've had with past dragon mods was that it's such a script-heavy fight any added scripts screw things up, cause crashes, etc. This does NONE of that, and is still super effective!

This, Combat Evolved, Animal Tweaks, and Morrowloot Ultimate are now my must-have script-free combat mods. If ya can run vanilla Skyrim SE, I guarantee you can run those four mods without issue for great results. If ya do this, start out on Adept. Things will seriously kick your ass now! Ya know, like epic RPGs should...

I didn't use both at the same time, so load order wasn't an issue. Just wanted to compare the two. Will give it a shot with both mods installed choosing values like you suggested. Thanks.

Feel like sweetspot is somewhere between Sturdy Dragons and this mod.

Even with sturdy's hardcore mode I'm generally melting dragons (thought at least they last longer than most things), but this one seems to just make things feel a bit overly long.

I tried a frost dragon with sturdy probably killed it in under a minute. It didn't pose much threat.

I tried the same dragon with this mod and it probably took me 30 min with a fair number of reloads along the way. Didn't help that if i got even near it 1-shot me with its bite.

Level 29 orc mage with apocalypse and ordinator. I kind of fear for low level chars, especially those just fighting the dragon outside whiterun, with that much hp.

So the 0.2 version removes the insane dragon health regeneration?
Played the initial release and the very first dragon was unkillable at level 18, even with the help of the guards and several adventurers. I would shed off a few pixels from his health then he'd simply fly off and regen to full in a matter of 2-3 seconds. This was on legendary difficulty however so master would've been ok I guess.

This plus Sturdy Dragons should make for a very challenging experience, indeed. Hopefully, Aurlyn will stop stealing my kills now

Ever since installing this mod, dragons appear to aggro forever. If you can't win, it follows you everywhere. Go inside a cave and sneak... go back outside, and the dragon is waiting for you with a nice breath to the face.

I checked my other mods, and this is the only one that directly affects the dragons. I checked the mod with SSEEdit, and there are werewolf and vampire abilities on the dragon.. wtf? How much has this mod been tested?
