This mod is amazing but I sure wish it was for AE too. I was looking for this exact type of mod and found yours, but I don't play VR. Very sad but I will still give you an endorse for how awesome it is.
What are the item codes for spawning? Due to not being able to start the game normaly, i need to start new games on vanilla skyrim and then load the save in the modded game, but that way only the misc items spawn, but not the map items.
Would be absolutely next level if you could add the ability to see where you are on the map , can’t play Skyrim everyday when I pick up where I left off I have no idea where I’m at when I pick back up , so I have to open the world map anyway :( or at the least the ability to mark where you are with a hotkey or something of that nature it’s no less immersive, like writing on the map
Greetings, first of all, this mod is rightfully up there as one of the essentials for VR. The amount of immersion it provides is great, however, I'd like to know if it would be possible to somehow generate quest markers on the held maps. This would make it top level immersion mod and would finally allow us to completely remove hud without any drawback. The way I think it could work would be to on every map draw take the texture and render the marker arrows onto it in appropriate places. How to get them there is a question, I'm not a modder and don't know how real map works, maybe there's something in their generation on real map that would allow them to be duplicated on the texture in correct XY coordinates? I'm sure another one of the big names in modding community would help with that, as this is the one and only thing this great mod needs!
Great Mod for immersion! May I request a patch to disable the auto adding of the maps and items to your inventory? for the sake of keeping the inventory clean or just for more immersion. I put them away in a chest to do some tasks and quests, and they just reappear. can be confusing, and may cause duplications.
Just want to start off saying I love this mod and it's one of the essential mods keeping SkryimVR as the best VR experience today.
However, any plan to fix the Solstheim map? That font.. yikes. It's barely readable just looking at the .dds file, let alone in VR where resolution and contrast are not the greatest.
Also. Saering's Watch has the icon but no name. It's a primary destination for the main quest and the Skaal don't provide a lot of details. Took a while to figure out where I needed to go as I play with no map/HUD.
I never had an issue with the Solstheim map, this is the first I've heard of it. But looking back the font could definitely be darker, the font itself I don't think is an issue. I'll take a look when I load up the game next and see how I feel.
Can you send me a picture of that location circled on the map and I can add it in?
