Anyone else getting two circles (one for each lens) that are visible because they are less dark than the area outside of the lens, when walking around in dark areas with this on? I also have glamur reshade if that helps
I'm able to lower my Supersampling from 2.0 to 1.5 with this and still come out with a supremely sharper image (Quest 2). Tremendous FPS save too, my reprojections have been reduced by at least half or more in most areas.
Will this preset work with a new updated version of Reshade? I keep getting a warning that there is a newer version available but I am afraid to update in case it messes everything up and I can't get it working again...
Nope - radio silence from fholger :( so I haven't tried updating as everything is working and I don't want to bugger everything up. I read somewhere that changes had been made to make it work with VR - I have thought about trying the latest version and trying to duplicate the settings from this version... But haven't got round to it yet...
Ok so I jumped in at the deep end and decided to upgrade to the latest version of ReShade - the Sharper Eye preset is not directly supported by the latest version, although it attempts to emulate if you point it at that preset .ini file during installation. So I decided to recreate it using the newer plugins, which after a few hours of experimenting I managed to do :) The advantage of the new version is that you can access the ReShade interface via the Steam dashboard inside your headset and it has a few extra settings - so I decided to upload the new preset as a new mod: Scalpel VR ReShade - hopefully that will suffice until this mod is updated? :)
I can't get any ReShade effects to show up in my Oculus Quest 2.. I install ReShade and when i add/delete effects I can see it change on the image on my monitor but when I look in my VR headset absolutely nothing is changing.. Any thoughts on why the effects aren't showing up on the image in my headset even when they show up on screen????
EDIT: Resolved! I was trying to do to much as usual.. I didn't realize you literally just need to extract the contents of this into your SkyrimVR folder like it says and don't do anything else.. I was doing that first step and then still trying to manually load reshade into the game. should have just done what i was told haha
Works wonderfully, but I have a strange issue when entering buildings. It kind of remembers some glare lines from the last frame before entering a building and they stick to the screen like a mask in front of my eyes. Can anyone help with that?
Hey thanks to your inspiration, I started a Fallout 4 VR Reshade, using Fallout 4 Realistic by Tussi as a base and stripped away everything that is not relevant to VR.

Reshade 5 with pre-packaged Reshade2.ini seems to solve this problem. It even has a Steam VR Overlay now.
